  1. It was an awesome game. Don't want to get my hopes up as we have a major uphill battle with Bama next weekend. Should be a decent game and if the Tigers keep it within 10 points I'd be happy. Stranger thing have happened though.
  2. You need my address Denjac? lol. TIGERS!
  3. Oh boy. Here we go. This marks the official OAF first day of winter when this question is asked.
  4. Champ, With your new avatar I can't take anything you say as fact. Looks like we are enemies til the dust has settled on Friday afternoon. Hopefully I'm having bacon and fried pork chops for dinner come Friday!
  5. Why else do you think the WE "Screamin' Eagle" is his weapon of choice?
  6. Usually you don't even have to do that. The max file size on an upload is 2MB and if you just right click the pic you are wanting to updoad, click edit, when the pic opens click CTRL W and then adjust the window size to 99 vertical by 99 horizontal and click ok then upload the pic again. Works fine. Don't have to crop and usually will cut the file size down by half or so.
  7. The thread has officially gone off the rails of the crazy train now. Went from a tournament date announcement to the shootout at the O.K. Corral. Easy cowboy.
  8. Man. The OBBT staff member explained WHY they MUST have it this way. It is in State and COE regulations....it is NOT OBBT's rule. They must abide by it in order to put the tournament on. Put it this way, if you caught a fish that was 14" and weighed 5lbs you could NOT weigh that fish in during the tournament because that is a Table Rock Lake and State regulation that they MUST be 15" in length. Oakley may wish the 13" legal length regulation (like other bodies of water in MO) was in effect for their tournament...but they can't because their hands are tied by REGULATIONS and LAW st forth by the authorities of the land. Get it? To your other point about having it vs not having it this is a different situation. People participating in this tournament are more than likely good people as most fisherman seem to be. Better than the general public IMO. Going to Walmart or out in general public places you are more likes to encounter a problem than you are fishing out of a boat and chumming it up at the ramp with people in the same mind frame having, sharing the same passion and a good time doing what we like doing best.....FISHING. I am NOT anti- gun in the least. I have a dozen at home. But I just don't see getting bent out of shape on this issue or bashing the tournament that has NO SAY in this matter and must comply with the accordance of the law. I will end it there as I have said my piece. Agree to disagree. Hope you will change your mind and fish it because it's a great time.
  9. Yes. They are called "naked heads" on his website.
  10. Figures. The ONE color I don't have.
  11. While I am 110% in support of 2nd amendment rights, concealed carry laws and everything that goes along with it.....do you really want to miss out on a great tournament because you are unwilling to leave you gun at home for 2 days? Do you really need that weapon while out on the water fishing? Come on now. That is your choice but don't hate on the rules because you don't like them. Either abide by them or don't play the game.
  12. Ya those hooks look planted on the outside of the fish. Quill you "Bandit" you. What color really worked?
  13. I agree. I feel like round ball heads are worse than other shapes are far as chipping off. I am not overly concerned with paint on the head honestly but I likem' to look pretty with their matching trailer. You play like you look kinda deal. NuTech stuff is legit as far as the not hanging up claims. It's the truth. As long as Bo keeps making them I will be fishing them.
  14. I don't believe so. That is per each.
  15. Exactly. Can't even tell....so how is a pea brained fish going to?
  16. Hey I am no cheap skate and I will pay $12 bucks for a SPRO bait, $15 + for a Lucky Craft or even around $25 for a Jackall or others. But that is where I draw the line. Paying $100+ or even $400 for a bait is just insane. Are $10 baits better than $1 baits in the bargain bin? Most of the time yes. But is a $400 bait better than and $25.....I really don't think so. A lot of times guys want to pull things out of their pants to see whose is bigger....bigger wallet that is....lol. Someone is always willing to pay for the "very best" or most expensive latest and greatest out there and the bait companies like Roman Made and others prey on this. More power to them but this sucker will never pay that much for a single lure.....especially since I didn't win the Powerball over the weekend.
  17. x 2 on this. Plenty of gravel islands in the dam area in late spring/early summer that is loaded with gar rolling on the surface and have had some really good mornings on these locations.
  18. Ha. No way will I EVER spend that much $ on a single bait.
  19. Good to have you back Dave. Been wondering where the heck you've been but figured it was coaching football. That or you are taking Duke losses really hard these days and locked yourself in a padded room for 4 months.
  20. Richie, Awesome pics from catches throughout the year. Couple of questions: do you prefer a single joint (S-Waver) over say a multiple joint swim bait? Do you see a difference in quality/size of fish from the 168S to the 200 sizes in the R2S S-Waver? Was thinking of getting one and was wondering your thoughts on the 2 sizes. Also was that fish you caught in the pic with KVD caught on a swim bait? Awesome pic there with you and KVD at the OBBT. Thanks for any info you are willing to share.
  21. That is perfectly fine to voice your opinion. But on more than a few occasions you have said something to deter someone from using/buying someone's product. I know of two instances you did it in the swap and sell forum here on OA in which a guy was selling his custom painted wiggle warts and you bashed the thread and told people to buy elsewhere for cheaper. Pretty rude I think. Another one was a call out on a boat someone was trying to sell here as well saying it was way over priced. That is in bad taste IMO. Probably better left unsaid in these situations.
  22. Bo, You just leave those brown fish alone. If you guys on the upper end want some brownies you will just have to get off your butts, get down here and catchem'. That or return the favor and bring some frickin' largies down our way!
  23. x 10
  24. In my opinion that is not the same at all saying it is like fishing with live bait. The same thing would be feed bass for an extended period of time at your dock (ex. throwing 200 shad in a dock slip every day) and have a large school coming in every time you started to feed then one day all of a sudden throwing a drop net on them and gets a mess full and saying you caught them. Pretty much takes the sport out of it IMO. Didn't say it wasn't legal in some states...I for one just think it is lame to do that.
  25. Good example of jumping the string. Also a good example of how non-sporting that was...good grief. Deer feeder 15 yards from the blind? Come on now!
