I love WTD lures and am guilty of buying quality lures all too frequently. But...I have to think that cadence is as important as anything else with this lure. I definitely get wrapped up in buying a better mouse trap but in the end all the quality WTD lures are pretty similar with the differences being nuances at best. Loud rattle, quiet rattle, hook quality, etc. I think the most important part is the person using it. I am positive if I was fishing with many of you more accomplished anglers and I was rigged identically I would still catch less fish. JoeD outfishes me with a white fluke 99% of the time, he is a master with it. When I see I am being outfitted the first thing I do is stop and watch the subtleties of my fishing partners technique.
Yep, I like quality tackle, but I think Confidence, Casting accuracy, and Cadence (presentation speed) make the biggest difference of all.
