  1. Stop by Lilley's landing, they will have everything you need and great advice. Fish a jig, there's nothing better when handled properly.
  2. Beautiful Rainbow.
  3. Beautiful fish.
  4. Excellent. Well done.
  5. Nice. Great memories for you and your son.
  6. Well done. Nice day to be out.
  7. Mmmmmm...Solitude and big smallies. Enjoy. Post some pics when you return.
  8. Nice fish. It sure has been eating well. It seems like a lot of farm ponds have long skinny fish. Your in-laws pond must be well balanced.
  9. Nice fish and great angle on the photo.
  10. Beautiful home and you're in a great area. I know you are a lake boat guy but don't discount the beautiful Ozark streams!
  11. +1 on the nice photos. How was the fishing?
  12. +1 on Gavin's idea. I would love to see it.
  13. I think you should get Al to sign it for you!
  14. Awesome piece of memorabilia. How old is it do you think?
  15. Nice. Beautiful weather and a top water bite. It doesn't get any better than that. A 20" kicker just tops it off too..
  16. Get out the corn meal boys. We're gonna have a fish fry tonight!
  17. Nice. I need to fish!!!
  18. Awesome report and pics. Way to go with Mitch's craw, if those were any more realistic you could boil em and eat them.
  19. Those shorts scare me.
  20. Nice brown. Well done.
  21. Amber, hands down the best for varying light conditions.
  22. Hey Smallie. How do you like those R2S Rovers? I just picked up a few (normal size) ones and have not had the chance to use them very much.
  23. I love WTD lures and am guilty of buying quality lures all too frequently. But...I have to think that cadence is as important as anything else with this lure. I definitely get wrapped up in buying a better mouse trap but in the end all the quality WTD lures are pretty similar with the differences being nuances at best. Loud rattle, quiet rattle, hook quality, etc. I think the most important part is the person using it. I am positive if I was fishing with many of you more accomplished anglers and I was rigged identically I would still catch less fish. JoeD outfishes me with a white fluke 99% of the time, he is a master with it. When I see I am being outfitted the first thing I do is stop and watch the subtleties of my fishing partners technique. Yep, I like quality tackle, but I think Confidence, Casting accuracy, and Cadence (presentation speed) make the biggest difference of all.
  24. +1 on good equipment.
  25. Awesome. Any fish pics? I like the photos over the paddlers guide. Nice touch.
