Nice fish, I heard the lake is really low. Did you notice any rise in the water yet, I bet this rain will help some. I will be down this weekend maybe we'll bump into each other. You have your Champion with you? Good luck and keep the info and pic's coming.
If you go to 7/24 outdoors they have alot of info that might be helpful. I'm either on Ozark Anglers or 7/24 for fishing info both have very good stuff.
The drum are biting very well. We caught 5 last weekend also caught some good bass. Jigs were the better of the baits for us. Maybe next time we will go drum fishing so I can catch a limit of bass.
That is not Timothy Olyphant the sheriff from Deadwood but it is his partner in the hardware store. Also the sheriff in the trailer was also in Deadwood as a sick dude with a crazy thing for women, before he killed himself.
If you like Timothy in Deadwood you should checkout Justified on the FX channel.
That seems to be the way things are now days nobody respects another mans space. Fishing is getting pushed by the mighty dollar or whats left of the dollar. I like to treat them as I want to be treated, with respect.
Nice fish. You guys just out fishing for fun? If you don't mind what did you catch it on? Hopefully it will be your turn next, let him see what it is like to be the net guy.
let us know what was working and how things went. If you can let me know water temps in that area. I will be at Hurricane deck area and don't want to run up there without any info. Thank you
Haven't seen any crappie reports for LOZ but there was a report on bass in the area you are looking to fish. To get that report you have to go to 724outdoors.com Hope this helps.
I to would like to thank you for all the the info. I will be fishing the Bass world event in march and hopefully will learn something about that lake. There are so many places to fish but from my experience this time of year it is from Gravois Arm up to the dam for the better fish.
I have floated that river many times as a kid and it was fun. I think that was what caught my eye on the TV show Party Heat Spring river. Very entertaining.I'm sure I saw you. It reminds me of Bass resort in Missouri .
Its a little tougher in a two boat stall and your on the upper side of the stall. In a single stall that is the way to go without a doubt. Thanks for the video.
Bill I have a few questions if you don't mind answering. How deep into Bull creek were you fishing and was there any hazards(humps, gravel bars or logs) to lookout for as you travel. I have never fished Bull in the 17 years going to Taney. Have seen some nice LM come out of Bull in a couple of the bass tourneys that Phil put on before the team tournament.
