Every Superbowl is the same. I think we focus to much attention on refs and forget there was 22 players on the field that may have had a litte something to do with the outcome. Both teams made mistakes. The refs didn't make Warner throw the pass to Harrison for 100 yard return and the refs didn't make the Steelers leave the middle of the field wide open for Fitzgerald for a 60+ plus pass.
The NFL does it right and puts the title on the field of play. The better team has to overcome the setbacks and to move on to victory.
The fans got their money's worth in this Superbowl.
I am trying to learn the winter pattern for catching bass. I am putting in at Aunt Creek in the a.m. and I plan on throwing stickbaits and jigs, but that can be changed. I have an open ear for anyone that is familar with fishing this time of year and would appreciate any and all advice.
I have it recorded and was looking forward to watching it for the fishing aspects but now that is blown. I will watch it to see how bad they screwed it up.
Yesterday was a discouraging day. Fished out of Cape Fair from 9-1 and caught a short KY. I threw grub, jig, stickbait and crank with no success. It was nice day to be out but the fish thought otherwise.
Did anyone else have any luck out there?
I looking to do some suspending bait fishing with stickbaits in the weeks to come. Most of my reels are set up with Fireline or Spiderwire with a leader. Does anyone know if Fireline/Spiderwire floats with the bait or sinks the bait?
I am trying to learn how fish through the winter (not that I dont have a lot to learn the rest of the year). This group of guys has helped me out a lot.
Eric,
I apprecitate you clearing the air and setting things straight. I would suspect that several may have been up in arms because they did not understand the details of the ruling.
to be more specfic, what I am looking for a rod that is real flexible on the tip but quickly stiffens as it move toward the handle.
Does the Lightning and/or BPS crankin stick have those characteristics?
Looking for a good crankbait rod without throwing in the bank. Like to get no higher than $70.00, but could be comfortable with one even less. Any you guys have suggestions?
whack'emGood,
I will be trying to learn to fish during the winter this year and I know you use crank bait a lot during the colder months. Is particular brand/size/color etc that you use frequently?
