  1. Thanks for the help fellas...I’d rather fix it than replace it...not many muffler shops in Joplin but I think the muffler shop guy will help Take care
  2. darn...No offense...but I hope your food supply goes unused... id say you’re definitely more prepared than most...you’re like a 1 percenter good luck
  3. Me too...mines been on self quarantine...my brothers are close and can check in on her. she decided to stay home last week...she’s social and likes to play cards with her friends at the clubhouse...I think it’s been hard on her...but she’s talking to friends and distant relatives on the phone a lot. she has a lot of faith and a lot of food she says
  4. Lot of people with their heads in the sand im not sure about more firewood but I’m definitely planning a bigger garden
  5. Ok...thanks. After I sent message...I thought about it...and that’s what I thought you might have meant...thanks
  6. What do you mean gusset? I’m not very mechanical
  7. Thank you...I let the grass clippings pile up against it...and I guess that’s what happened
  8. Trying to get the mower ready today...greased the spindles...but when I was putting it back together...I noticed the bracket that connects the deck is rusted pretty bad. is it weldable? It’s a 10 year old John Deere...cost to replace the deck wouldn’t make sense. bummer if I need to start shopping for a new one...otherwise mower in good shape.
  9. I’m in an essential industry but pretty far removed from the day to day...I’ve been home since Tuesday afternoon. I really feel like our company went above and beyond in an aggressive manner to proactively find a solution to keep us back office types working and more importantly for the company - hopefully protect the essential operations people by reducing the number of people those individuals interact with daily i should have kept my nose out of the previous conversation...I apologize for aggravating the situation. I’m not good at investing either...always seem to sell the winners and keep the losers. no telling what will happen but this is the best article I’ve read recently https://www.forbes.com/sites/investor/2020/03/19/a-historic-4-week-crash-the-most-serious-time-in-90-years/#27009e3532af good luck to all and God Bless
  10. Point taken...I should’ve just stayed out of it
  11. Not trying to pick a fight but sounds like the status quo not much of an option for the employees...pto won’t last long and they know it bad precedent set by allowing the one employee to work from home....there will be others in similar situations sorry if offended...just being objective
  12. Not my business but short-sighted to not heed the warnings...you need to be working on a plan. Depending upon what your stores are selling...you could be setting yourself up for a lawsuit...might be more prudent to close temporarily. Or I think you’re in auto parts business...close retail side and only do delivery to the mechanics with a skeleton crew...should be able to keep the lights on with delivery income Might get some good publicity out of it...and your employees would be relieved to know they worked for a socially responsible organization. Bring everyone back in two weeks and be ready to roll. it seems small business in sw Missouri is continuing with the status quo...and I think that is dangerous with very little upside IMO...sorry if it is offensive to anyone...good luck and God Bless
  13. https://fayar.craigslist.org/boa/d/farmington-15-foot-flat-bottom-all-weld/7091015868.html Cool boat...Id try to make it stick steer...similar to the link.
  14. Shoot wrong post...so I deleted I guess I’ll give my 2 cents...It’s a river and not much current break...but hard to imagine they couldn’t see it coming...I guess big motor didn’t start...and must’ve been a weak battery on the trolling motor...but I think I would’ve jumped way before it got to the edge...hard to say tho
  15. If not a tiller...Try to set it up as a stick steer. that would be best to balance the weight...plus you’d feel like an airplane pilot up there... people are proud 1448 Jon boats...hard to find em are you still fishing crooked creek?
  16. Wow...that’s a heck of a deal on the motor. Does it run? Is it a tiller?
  17. Good luck
  18. the information that is on table rock should apply to beaver as well. Some fish dam area...some fish mid lake...and some fish the rivers. Just apply that info to the area you fish and post your results...the revolution begins with you
  19. Ed Chapko if still around...good guy and good equipment...I think he called guide service E and C don andreason is a little gruff...but is usually on the fish...beaver fever
  20. Thanks for the update
  21. How’d you do?
  22. One more thing...on the initial drive into the park...come down thru red lodge Montana...and stop at the top of the world shop...pretty cool
  23. There’s so many great places to fish around the northeast entrance...wolves, bear and elk are around...buffalos are everywhere...we had such a great time and saw a ton of wildlife. the falls is cool...lots of other stuff to do. But the best thing to do is just park the car...and walk the creeks and trails. No better place to do it than northeast entrance to mammoth and down to Sheepeater I liked the lake...but didn’t spend much time around it. But we did have lunch on the shore and fished...was nice but an hour or two was enough If you like nature...the lamar river valley is where you’ll want to spend your time i didn’t care for the southern part or the tetons
  24. Another good fishing spot was Gardner river near sheapeater canyon...we lunched at lava creek typically. buy this book
  25. Save your money and stay at the grizzly lodge at northeast entrance...close to nature and fishing. we went 5 or 6 years ago for two weeks...the grizzly is kind of like glorified car camping but it is a great place to stay. old faithful lodge is neat...but you’ll feel like you’re at a cards game. Vendors and crowds...best thing about it is the cutthroat wine spritzer. It is hot as hell around there in July. i don’t know much about mountains but it seems like 100 yards makes a big difference...you can be one place and it’s nice...move 100 yards and it’s hot as haites the only fishing we found around old faithful was brook trout fishing in streams you could jump across...was fun but not five days worth of fun. check out grizzly lodge in silver gate...you’ll be glad you did
