Ya...I didn’t figure yours was a fox. I think the feet are cool but my guy said it wasn’t worth it. 25 bucks doesn’t seem like deal breaker to me

I don’t know...I assumed immature red fox. seems smaller than red fox we had in the back yard this summer...but sure looks like a squirrel to me...so I guessed it as a red fox. You tell me...thanks

He ain’t much for city life. we live in suburbs so always have to be careful around the house...kinda nice that he Old enough he can travel to the farm
  13. Son is out of school from mo state...he has been running a handful of traps this week...pretty fun. He’s caught a possum every day, a skunk, a coon and a red fox today. I’d post a pic or two but don’t want to offend anyone running mb550s in Lawrence county...dry sets. Cost about 15 bucks in gas to check em each day...but he is having fun...so that’s all I care about
  14. I don’t want to drag anything...that’s why I have the boat...to save a heart attack. I like hunting out of our small boat with Avery blind for warmth and comfort....but it’s probably too tall late in the year up there...unless you can get up against something.
  15. I hear ya...We hunted 2b a couple times last year...you definitely see a lot of birds but there wasn’t enough cover...so we struggled in there. I think we should’ve used the boat to get in...but hunted out of layout blinds. it’s pretty depressing to see all those birds and not be able to get them to work the decoys. we could’ve went a couple times early this year With a buddy who got drawn...but we didn’t go because I thought there wasn’t enough water to use the boat...I regret the decision now...we didn’t get drawn again this week.
  16. We never do very good at Stockton but it is a fun style of hunting...we take the boat to get to our spot but don’t hunt out of it....we just hide along the shore in the buckbrush and driftwood...Most of the shooting is at low flying diving ducks...they sneak up on you and they are fast flyers. so it’s fun Good luck at Truman...ive hunted it but it’s been 10 years ago...there used to be a guy based in Clinton that took Me and my 2 boys a couple times when they were little...he would take us and cook breakfast for the boys. He had a big boat with hard sided blind on it...and an Rv stove/oven in it to cook the eggs, bacon and biscuits. It was a great time. It was pricey but we still talk about it sometimes...so it was worth it. We went in deepwater area with him but I think Osceola area would be good too...good luck and let us know how you do... thanks
  17. Not being able to poor line into 4rivers is really hurting our duck hunting this year. weve been hunting at the farm west of rich hill but not many birds in the air again this weekend. Just a couple groups of gadwalls...and some high flyers. we’re still doing good on the crows...we must’ve had 50 in the air this morning early if we don’t get drawn this week into 4rivers...I guess we’ll try Stockton but my expectations there are pretty low
  18. Chris knight...William...it’s a good song...he’s got a couple others too. It ain’t easy being me is another
  19. We call at them and hunt em just like you do a duck. Once you get them coming in...you better not miss the first one...or else you’re done
  20. It’s just what we call crows...I’m just joking around...we don’t eat them but they are fun to hunt.
  21. Nothing better...you just got to know how to cook em alabama short necks for dinner
  22. Better’n us...hardly any ducks flying for us Saturday morning but we scratched out a good crow shoot...fun times

    Hub Blind

You can do it with one hand and a foot you just kind of pull each individual panel out til it pops into place...doesn’t take much pressure but might have to use your foot or knee to kind of keep it in place... If you can cut wood...you can open the blind. They’re much better than the old kind that you had to turn into a figure 8 to collapse Into a circle
  24. ponds sure are low
  25. Good story mitch Saturday we were in rich hill Area hunting the family farm...had a couple groups (Gadwalls) coming into decoys pretty good til about 7...and then after that...not much i shot terrible again...but we had fun...oldest got two and an Alabama shortneck (crow). fun times
