    I did not know that. Does this mean you will be setting beaver traps along the shores of the upper lake? I can see myself getting caught in one of those traps with a huge brown on the line, and the water rising. What a way to go!

    I'm sure Leonard got scared about them beavers being out last night. Beavers are most active this time of year and espesically after dark. I think my wife is about ready to nail the door shut behind me. If it wasn't for this wonderful website, and full tilt poker, I would be absolutely insane. I shoveled 20 inches of snow out of the driveway yesterday. How bad did you get hit?

    You all are making this way too difficult. If you want to do it yourself, go purchase some shark bite fittings for the size pipe in question. Abandon the old wheel handle gate valve, install a sb coupling and penetrate the floor. Install a sb ball valve, 90, 90 and back through the floor and reconnect to the existing downstream line. You will need shark bite fittings and less than ten feet of pipe. A couple of trips in the crawl space and you are done.

    Up hill both ways? Is the snow that deep? I have already gave up on Leonard picking us up. Did you hear about I44 shut down on the west bound side, from springfield to the ok line? According to reports, oklahoma shut it down, and the traffic is backed up to Joplin. MSHP is not sure when it will reopen. Getting motorists off the highway and to shelter is a major undertaking.

    Snow and sleet at a heavy rate in camdenton, mo. Probably six inches already. Wind is out of the north with some heavy gusts at times. Hope everyone fairs well.

    They are sold at the local bait shop and used for trot line bait. Blue catfish love them.

    I hope you catch it again as well. A tremendous and great looking brown. That's what makes taney famous these days. You always have the prospect of catching a fish like this. Good for you, great fish.

    They do drift boats quite often, I would say yes to legal, but no to ten units of generation.

    You didn't say anything about pecan pie in your post last night. I would have made the trip just for the pie. Six inch fish? Sounds like neosho has stocked a truck load of federallies this month. Are they silver colored?

    Well you are right in that respect. The locals have always referred to the generation tunnel as a reference, or a starting point, to tunnel dam, and then came the spillway at the end of five mile slough. Kdan and I catch all of our walleye at the generation tunnel.

    Actually they can go past tunnel dam around 5 mile slough. At the end of that journey they reach the spillway below tunnel dam lake. I don't think they are capable of going up the spillway like trout and salmon.
