Again... but a different river. Trophy smallies from Cedar Grove to Two Rivers. No jets from Powder Mill up. Ah...I love global warming.
And my wife love's my tan lines...
Under... I think they'll go 6 - 10. Our #1 pick should help with protection on the right side (I hope!). Last years coaching staff had no clue when it comes to offense. Reid should change that.
I watched from the beginning of round 1. Great to see Phil shoot that 66 and win it. Tiger needs to quit hollerin' the G-word when he gets hacked off. He knows the mike's pick it up. Big difference in class between Phil and Tiger. Tiger's ways sure changed since his Pa passed away.
Floated and camped from Blue Spring to Bay Creek the 9th thru the 12th. Fishing was pretty good.. biggest was 17". I'll post a report with pics once my buddy gets the pics he took. Lost me a pig at Bee Bluff. Crappy "Arkie" stand-up jigs. Can't stand'em but laziness prevented me from acquiring Chomper stand-ups.
Nice feeder creek SB's (that means "Smalliebigs"). Don't wanna start yet another war on the site! Wonder what happend to the tail of the LM in the last pic...
Floating from Blue Spring to Bay sunday the 3rd till maybe wednesday the 6th. Can't wait! And I believe some of you guys overthink it a little...
Power to the procrastinators!
There's a campground at the J bridge with a ramp if you wanna launch a boat. He charges a small fee. If you're canoeing you might try floating from Fiery Fork to the J bridge. It's only three miles.
It's easier to put a bait in front of a smallie on a river than a lake (good lake fisherman will disagree with this novice). Year 'round... and in my book a heck of a lot more fun, is floating Ozark streams. My best is just 17 1/2 but I'm still fishing for a 20 or more. Used to fish year 'round and I sure miss the winter stuff. My best is only 17 1/2 on the JF. Guess I have nowhere to go but up... here's a pic
Put in at Blue Spring and take out at Bay Creek if you're on a fishing trip. If you're just paddling and sightseeing go do your thing. Have fun! Try to camp one night at Chalk Bluff.
Keep Mauk on the bench ALL YEAR. They've red-shirted him this year so why waste it by playing him now? Let Franklin and Berkstresser finish this year out. With Franklin being a senior next year and Berkstresser a junior Mauk would have to be lights out next spring and summer to get the starting job even then.
