  1. I have a like new 2018 Ranger RT178 that is loaded and in great condition only been on the water 11times. I thought I was ready to downsize after I quit fishing tournaments but I miss my fiberglass boat. Boat has a fantastic layout especially with 92inch beam and single console. The 60HP Mercury 4 Stroke will push it around 35mph and doesn't burn hardly any gas as I haven't even ran a full tank yet. Boat is loaded with 70lbs Edge TM, 2 Lowrance graphs, 3 bank charger, ratchet tie downs, spare tire, cover, rod storage system with tubes, cup holders in 4 places and the usual instruments. I purchased the 7 year platinum Ranger bumper-to-bumper warranty for every component on the boat, motor and trailer which is obviously transferrable and good through 2025. Total package including 7 year bumper-to-bumper warranty $21,000. I keep the boat at the lake house in Blue Eye so would have to meet down there. Just PM if interested.
  2. The 5BR sits on Panorama Point, one 3BR is in Leisure Shores and the other is in Twin Islands. All 3 within 15 minutes of Hwy 65 and easy access to ramps. Here are a few more pics before we take possession and remodel some ourselves.
  3. Will do and thank you! I will have possession of 2 of them this weekend and then need to do some minor touches, furnish and stock the next week. The other I will have possession on June 30th. The 5BR is $200/night and the 3BR are $150/night plus cleaning fee. All 3 have plenty of parking because all 3 are on double lots and during more normal lake levels 2 of the 3 have community ramps.
  4. If anyone on the forum ever needs a vacation rental please let me know. I recently purchased 3 houses and will close on them the next couple weeks. All 3 are off 86 Highway within 15 minutes of Highway 65 and close to 86, Cow and Long Creek ramps plus not really that far to Mill or State Park. I have a 5BR 2BA, 3BR 3BA and 3BR 2BA all with great lake views and will be fully furnished and ready to go. Just PM me if interested. Hope everyone is well and maybe I will get to fish again one of these days.
  5. Thanks everyone! Me not fishing isn't about my age as I have been fortunate to keep myself in decent shape over the years. I just took a little break to buy then remodel some rental properties along with flips plus started a vending business. We do almost all the work ourselves and were actually remodeling 5 houses at once during the 2nd half of last year. The last couple of years I usually worked around 80hrs per week but my plan is to calm that down some and fish more which is why I bought a newer Skeeter in November. I would like to fish a few tournaments this year but mainly interested in just more time on the water.
  6. I usually say "wiser" but my body doesn't like those 14hr fishing days like I used to do
  7. Spinnerbait, crankbait, swimbait, chatterbait, etc for the most part and yes still make everything but haven't had time. I need to restock soon :-)
  8. Thank you! Decided to get into the rental, remodel, flip, etc deal 3yrs ago and time isn't my friend now BUT ready to commit to going more in 2017.
  9. Life has kept me from fishing like I used to but I just bought a new boat and I'm ready to go a little more plus might jump in a few buddy tournaments. I used to fish around 80 days per year including all the derby's I could get into and was hardcore serious back them. All I my former partners have moved away or just stopped fishing all together which means when I actually find time to go I'm solo. I am older (49) and much more low key now and looking for someone who is the same...just want to have some fun and fish. I prefer to fish fast and hit lots of short stretches so keep that in mind. I hope everyone is doing well and just send me a PM if interested.
  10. Recently upgraded my rods and have a couple of my old ones left over. I have a Daiwa LT 7' Cranking Rod Model LT-701-RB cranking rod that is in very good shape and a like new Abu Garcia Vendetta 7ft MH Spinning Rod Model VTS70-6 that is in excellent shape. $50 each or $80 for both. Please message if interested. Thx.
  11. Been a rough year on the fishing front with the loss of my father along with 2 grandparents on my better halfs side plus took over managment of our 31 rental properties. I usually fish around 80 days per year but have only fished a handful of times this year. Hopefully that changes soon. Thanks for the message and hopefully all is well with you.
  12. Had to buy this in Minnesota last week after my Motorguide snapped a foot control cable and nobody up there works on Motorguides. I only used it 2 days and paid $399 for it at Gander Mountain. It is a Minn Kota Edge 12v 45lb Thrust Foot Control Bow Mount Trolling Motor that has paperwork along with warranty card. $300 firm cash only local pick up in mid Springfield area.
  13. Good job Sprint...glad you are wacking them. I have only fished Table Rock 3 times the last 6 weeks and have been all over the water column junk fishing each time...catching some and Sunday I had some pretty good ones on a blade.
  14. Never cared much for politics and the truth is always somewhere in the middle...going fishing now
  15. I have several customers who would disagree including some who got prosecutable evidence with security cameras that we installed. We had some customers with docks at LOZ that were having a lot of problems and since we installed cameras they haven't been robbed once. KY3 recently did a story about some homes being broken into after thieves read the obituaries...had footage of them skipping the house with cameras which were actually our cameras. Professional thieves can get around anything but cameras/alarm systems are just another layer of protection and will deter a high percentage of theft.
  16. The fish are really spread out especially the shallow ones so I could see the am's having trouble when the pro is bank burning. I burned a blade yesterday for 4 hours and only had 3 bites but they were all decent. Also, all the deeper fish I could find were in very small packs not big schools...I caught one here and one there on drop shot.
  17. Jason I am a regional sales rep for SecureNet Alarm Systems which is part of Guardian Security and Central Security Group...each have our own .com site with our name but all owned by the same people. Our main focus is residential and small business alarm systems but we do several camera surveillance jobs ranging from 2 camera all the way to 32+. We mostly use Honeywell Security products but also use GE and Speeco. We are one of the few companies that lease camera systems but we also offer outright purchase. Besides camera options on docks you can also have outdoor motions that are unsupervised to your alarm system and just beep/text/email when triggered...range is around 2000'. We do a lot of these in rural areas for driveway alarms but would work the same for docks. Also, I am shocked more dock owners don't have motion lights on their docks. I pay $50 for every referral I sell so send all you can
  18. Just let me know if I can help...there are many options and everything depends on what exactly you want to see. Some of the camera set ups these days can send you a text/email when they detect motion so you can either go down and check things out or remote view them.
  19. I fished the Bridgeport area last week and did well on flats with a shallow crank and buzzbait plus caught some a little deeper off points and ditches with series 5 cranks. Nothing big but caught fish pretty consisten all day.
  20. I hate thieves also which is one of the reasons I really enjoy selling security systems. I think I have sold around a dozen camera systems to docks up in the Lake of the Ozarks area that were having issues this year and several lake homes. If anyone ever needs a quote on a alarm or camera system I would be happy to help.
  21. Supposed to be...same with any other tournament in July or August. I guess you could just release small keepers without ever putting them in your box but that would be a tough decision to make.
  22. I am just glad it was only 5 boats and 1 guy only had 3. I told one of the guys as I was launching the boat that you can't sit in a 93 degree parking lot with fish in the livewells. He just said "I know man we screwed up".
  23. I was over at Grand Saturday just fun fishing and I came in to eat lunch and cool off around 2pm...saw a small club tournament doing their weigh-in in the parking lot while I was grabbing the truck to trailer the boat. After 40 minutes they drove down to the ramp to release their fish and they were all dead...they did launch a boat to pick them up but the damage was done. You can't talk in a parking lot while your fish bake in the livewells...some just people aren't very smart.
  24. I agree with rps but I will also add if the water is up in the bushes there will be some fish in them and an opportunity to catch topwater fish later
  25. June has always been one of my favorite months to fish Table Rock or Bull...especially if the water is a little above pool
