  9. Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sale Act 2-16-09 Very Important for you to be aware of a new bill HR 45 introduced into the House. This is the Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sale Act of 2009. We just learned yesterday about this on the Peter Boyles radio program. Even gun shop owners didn't know about this because it is flying under the radar. To find out about this - go to any government website and type in HR 45 or Google HR 45 Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sales Act of 2009. You will get all the information. Basically this would make it illegal to own a firearm - any rifle with a clip or ANY pistol unless: ·It is registered ·You are fingerprinted ·You supply a current Driver's License ·You supply your Social Security # ·You will submit to a physical & mental evaluation at any time of their choosing ·Each update - change or ownership through private or public sale must be reported and costs $25 - Failure to do so you automatically lose the right to own a firearm and are subject up to a year in jail. ·There is a child provision clause on page 16 section 305 stating a child-access provision. Gun must be locked and inaccessible to any child under 18. They would have the right to come and inspect that you are storing your gun safely away from accessibility to children and fine is punishable for up to 5 yrs. in prison... If you think this is a joke - go to the website and take your pick of many options to read this. It is long and lengthy. But, more and more people are becoming aware of this. Pass the word along. Any hunters in your family - pass this along. Peter Boyles is on this and having guests. Listen to him on KHOW 630 a.m. in the morning. He suggests the best way to fight this is to tell all your friends about it and "spring into action". Also he suggests we all join a pro-gun group like the Colorado Rifle Association, hunting associations, gun clubs and especially the NRA. This is just a "termite" approach to complete confiscation of guns and disarming of our society to the point we have no defense - chip away a little here and there until the goal is accomplished before anyone realizes it. This is one to act on whether you own a gun or not. http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/z?c111:H.R.45: http://www.opencongress.org/bill/111-h45/show http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h111-45 Please.... copy and send this out to EVERYONE in the USA More On Gun Grab HR 45 Here... http://news.google.com/news?oe=UTF-8&h...amp;tab=in& ned=&q=HR+45&btnG=Search+News
  10. Fished Sat. down in long creek. Waited untill it stopped snowing and the skys cleared. (mistake no. 1) Fishing stickbaits and jigs no bites as of 11:00 am. Switched to a bare 1/4 oz. jig with a white 3 inch grub. First cast a fat 16 inch LM. Took me 3 more hours to catch 3 more, all keepers no short fish. Had to crawl that jig across the bottom and when they took it , it was like mush, just dead weight. They did fight good just didnt swim away when the ate it. Sunday was fishing dam area and coudnt get bit. Saw only one other boat up there the four hours I was fishing, hmmmm I wonder why? I stunk it up Sun. Guess I shoulda tried the cedars bet they had there nose in there with the high skys.
  11. Watched some of the weigh in yesterday at Ahoys. 89 boats, 22 pounds was winning it when I left. would say that would hold up. lots of 17- 19 pound bags. 8.05 was big bass.
  12. Thats my choice too. Falkon ultra light 5 1/2 ft $89. I bought a new Falcon ultra light 6 ft. and the tip is too soft for my liking. With that 5 1/2 footer you can feel them them if they just look at it!!

    Meet Dean

Meet Dean, men's answer to Maxine Men strike back! How many men does it take to open a beer? None. It should be opened when she brings it. ----------------------------------------------------------- Why is a Laundromata really bad place to pick up a woman? Because a woman who can't even afford a washing machine will probably never be able to support you. ----------------------------------------------------------- Why do women have smaller feet than men? It's one of those 'evolutionary things' that allows Them to stand closer to the kitchen sink. ----------------------------------------------------------- How do you know when a woman is about to say something smart? When she starts a sentence with 'A man once told me....' ----------------------------------------------------------- How do you fix a woman's watch? You don't. There is a clock on the oven. ---------------------------------------------------------- If your dog is barking at the back door and your wife is yelling at the front door, who do you let in first? The dog, of course. He'll shut up once you let him in. -- -------------------------------------------------------- Scientists have discovered a food that diminishes a woman's sex drive by 90%. It's called a Wedding Cake. ---------------------------------------------------- Why do men die before their wives? They want to. ------------------------------------------------------ Women will never be equal to men Until....... they can walk down the street with a bald head And a beer gut, and still think they are sexy. ------------------------------------------------------ Send this to a few good men who need a laugh and To the select few women who can handle it!

That would be in Wolf creek I believe. Red 11 is right acroos the mouth of wolf creek. Pretty good resort and boat ramp with a dock.
  16. 4 or 5 salamanders would help knock the ice off the roof, but where would a guy get them
  17. Chief Graybear, mrbuzib1, and myself met up at Hickory creek this morning. We walked most of the park. Concerns we addressed were the litter problems which this time if year isnt too bad although we did see more than what you would expect. Also fish habitat, the need for some small dams, an artificial bait only area. Education on creel limits and an enforcement presence. Lots of good ideas just need to all get together and make it happen. Although small this could be a very nice place to fish with a small amount of work. After looking at the park mrbuzz had a flyrod in his truck so he gave it a whirl! Tried to upload a picture but it said Upload failed. 18. Do we need to have a meeting? I know the ones that live far away couldnt come but the local ones can. I am going to go down there this weekend and look things over.
  19. Lots of good brain storming on this topic. I would be up to join a Hickory creek steam team. I would even be happy to contact the Hatchery and see if there is any ideas or support from them.
  20. I dont think Neosho even has a local fly/bait shop except WalMart. Enforcement or lack of is the problem down there. I wonder if illegals dont get fishing permits as it might throw up a red flag as to there status in the U.S.? I guess keeping a phone handy and reporting any poaching, littering ect might be a start. I would bypass the city and go to the local newspaper with the problem. Maybe some embaresment might get things going.
  21. I was down there too Sat and Sun. for a few hours each day. Fished spinning gear up by the cable mostly. Was throwing super dupers. The wind a current were rough but still caught fish. Almost had to use a club when I wanted to cross the outlet for the guys fishing it. That to me would be no fun standing shoulder to shoulder. I did think the fish were running a little bigger than normal, my biggest being almost 3 pounds. The boats running up to the cable were curtious running the left hand side and then drifting back down that side well away from us waders.
  22. Our fore fathers sure screwed up when they did'nt make the wild turkey our national symbol.
  23. What are they going to do with Celebration City? Did they sell it or are they going to tear it down?
  24. Brrrr , your a better man than I.
