  1. . Area use fee is waived until April 1.
  2. If u are use to truman and the north zone you will be very disappointed withe the results down here. Taney is the most consistent bit is full of nonhuntable land. A boat with a blind is your best bet on taney. Migration days can pay off on main lake points on bull and table rock. Sorry about the vague post. You can hunt basically anywhere on bull and the rock with the exception of within a campground or commercial marina. Good luck scouting. That's the key.
  3. These are fairly rare on the rock. I panfish quite a bit and only managed 4 in my life. The highest concentrations are up the white river. I see several on stringers around eagle rock. 2 of my 4 were 11 3/4 inches
  4. Mostly truman. I'm wanting to stay close to home this week and try the James or cricket creek. Lots of small channels are being caught near cricket. You catching any flat heads in the James ?
  5. What arm of the lake? Anything besides channels?
  6. Where are u located?
  7. Crappiefisherman. I have had those exact same results this season. I hope business picks up. I've been hitting the Dam area
  8. Caught 17 good ones around Indian point. Few and far between. They were on 8 fow. Water was 78 degrees. My buddy's fishing log shows our best trips when water is above 80.
  9. its a great event. I.have coordinated this event at table rock the last 6 years for the corps of engineers. Feel free to give me a call at my desk. 501-340-1948. I will be in and out most of the day.
  10. I shocked swan and the pothole tonite. Not a white bass found. Talked to some guys that had been catching several whites prior to the snow. He reported a ten degree drop in water r Temp in swan today compared to Saturday. Shocked lots of walleye. Majority males But plenty of females. According to the Mdc guys it wasn't as good as last year. Possibly the murky runoff water.
  11. . Ill be in a cabin. White gmc pulling a red white and black ranger. I have fished the glaize arm quite a bit. Wanting new scenery down by the dam. I'd rather drive my truck to a closer ramp than drive my boat way down there. We will focus on crappie if we cand find them. I live near table rock so it's a great change of pace.
  12. Up the glaize arm above pb2
  13. I will be staying at army rec this weekend and want to fish the gravois to the dam. What will be my best launching location considering current conditions. We will be throwing jerkbaits and crappie fishing as well.
  14. Started off fishing flats above K dock around 10am. Caught 3 short walleyes. Caught a couple decent LMs on the channel banks with an A rig. Best bass bite was a jig and chigger craw. All fish were in the 15-20' range. Walleye were caught on a pear slider. Water temp was around 45.
  15. We were the second boat at the ramp. The ducks just flew right over our heads all morning.
  16. . Where can u find smoke/red. I can't find them any more. I'm not a fan of the kailins
  17. Casey Pitts actually caught it
  18. It's probably cleared up by now. Most creeks have
  19. Whites are ripping it on a rigs around the mouth of beaver. Second hand report but it doesn't surprise me
  20. We caught whites pretty good on the snap flats on a sunny day a couple of weeks ago. Left bitting whites to find crappie. They were on shad in about 6 fow. White sliders 1/8th oz head. Keep it on the bottom and reel it very slow you will catch plenty
  21. Caught the snot out of nice LM bass today near panther bay. Water was 46 degrees. A rigs and grubs on secondary shallow points. Best 5 would have been over 18 lbs. we capped it off with a 20 lb stiper. When the clouds rolled in the fish rolled out.
  22. Professional fishermen usually don't make good guides, what they can catch, most of their clients cannot. Of course there are always exceptions. But, when they struggle, and will not look at where the majority of the fish are and what they want, it adds to the pain. One execption to this is a man by the name of John Sappington. Top notch guy and top notch guide. He teaches his clients many other tactics than the dropshot for 14" kys. He is an great example of a professional fisherman who has firgured out the Rock to put his clients on quality fish.
  23. Ended up with 5 keeps all on different baits. We had our sixth on 3 times but couldn't get it to the boat.
  24. Black and blue in clear water on a sunny day....... Would u have got more bites on a more natural color?
  25. I put in at Tucker last week and tried to do some bottom bouncing. I was using a harness that had floats and a chartruese spinner on it. I only ended up with a small bluegill and a kentucky that hit it on the way down. I have a lot to learn about this technique, it was my first time. I was dragging from 20'-28fow. My buddies that have been diving down there say that the water gets green and dingy betweee about 25 and 30 fow then it clears up again.
