Well if we have another OA One Bass tourney next March, and as of now I think we will, I don't think you'll see any fall out from these discussions. People on this site are pretty good folks once you meet them in person and I really doubt (and hope) anyone will carry over any hard feelings.
Some of the folks on here that have had the strongest things to say are actually some of the best people you will ever meet.
20 yards is pretty bad. But you're right, best just to leave. If it's any consolation, they are probably lousy fishermen and incapable of finding fish, that's why they pulled in on you. Competent fishermen don't do that stuff.
Yep, a crappie. That pond may be stuffed with them if it doesn't get any pressure. Maybe try slow reeling a white crappie jig a couple of feet under a small cork. That is if you want to target them.
Corps is predicting a peak at 923 today, just keep that in mind as if you launch anytime soon, the water may be up a foot and a half by the time you come back, from where you launched.
I met Jim once, at the OA One fish tournament. He cam up to me, introduced himself, and we had a good conversation. I could tell that he was a good man.
I am truly saddened to hear this.
Did I hear Spy Baits? We talked a bit about those last year, but haven't heard much since then. I caught a few on them last year when the fish were up top chasing bait, but haven't had much luck on suspenders with them.
