  1. The problem with these "what's a good color" threads, is by the time it's all done, you're going to need to buy 20 baits to cover all the recommendations.
  2. HAHA, no kidding - this weather is unbelievable.
  3. Have a few myself and they look sweet. I am also waiting for the water temps to get a little warmer before throwing them.
  4. Thanks, mailbox was full, but I have cleared it out so you should be able to send me a PM.
  5. Ketchup - You are certainly welcome to come, it's open to all OA members.
  6. Glad to hear you guys got into them, but I'm with Terrierman, it's just too darn cold for me. Looks to be a brief warm up Wednesday afternoon, so I may venture out for a bit then.
  7. Good job Travis, that Colorado or Indiana blade is a good idea for a slow roll.
  8. Great, chili is a good idea. May really need it if this weather doesn't warm up. Long range forecast says it should, I hope they are right.
  9. Once Champ decides he likes a bait, he buys them all out everywhere. He's also responsible for the Spro Rock Crawler shortage.
  10. I liked the live coverage also, even if the guys have hit a slow spell it is interesting to see what they throw and how they fish it. I also hope that the next time they cover them until the end of the day.
  11. They've really messed up the whole weigh-in deal. I caught it just at the end when they weighed in Omori. Only reason I saw that was because I thought it was over and went to the web site to see who won. The weigh-ins are the worse part of the whole deal, they really need to fix it.

    What's Cooking?

Dang, you guys are gourmet cooks - that's some wonderful looking food!
  13. From what I saw, his main bait was a fish head spin tipped with a Zoom Super Fluke JR. He did throw some other stuff, but every day he got an early limit fishing that fish head slow and deep.
  14. Casey Ashley pulled it off!
  15. Well live coverage is done, I wish they would keep it going until the fishing ends, maybe they will change that going forward. Bobby Lane made a move. And it's possible his weights could be sandbagged, it seems you never know, but if so, he could be in the lead.
  16. HAHA, yeah that would be a good one!
  17. I was going to say something similar myself. Just about every other sport in the world has coaches, or in the case of golf, caddies. BASS ought to let these guys have a coach in the boat with them.
  18. And he caught a couple of nice smallies on it.
  19. I'd be smiling too, that's a fun size bass to get on the spinning gear.
  20. Omori sprayed a little secret sauce on his drop shot bait.
  21. Couple of nice spotted bass caught by Omori and Ashley.
  22. Just showed him, and mentioned he is fishing drop shot and 3/8 oz jig.
  23. The link: http://www.bassmaster.com/bassmaster-classic-live Casey Ashley again off to a strong start
  24. This is a tough one to call, so many guys are close. I'm leaning towards Howell, he's been pretty consistent with the crank bait, he's not catching a lot of fish, but he is getting good ones.
  25. Should be a good one, quite a few guys in contention. Omori sure came out of nowhere.
