  1. I think I know enough on this to be dangerous. I THINK the table prefix in the "g" in front of the dash in the table names, as in g_dname_date=1. Your table may have a different prefix than "g" and you have to adjust the command accordingly replacing the g with whatever the prefix is. So look at the table Core Groups and see if the table names are different, if so you have to change the prefix in the command for dname_ date=1, dname_changes=0, and dname_date=0. Maybe it's labled as wp_dname_date = 1. for example, in your database. I'd recommend doing a backup before making any table name changes. I'll see if I can find someone that knows SQL to see if they'll take a look at this. A SQL savvy type would know the answer to this right off the top of their head.
  2. Nice one! I've got family coming into town so I won't get out for another week and a half, so my only fishing will be looking at reports. Looks the bite is picking up.
  3. Or a Gunfish, but a tad less expensive.
  4. New lure, just in time for the fall top water bite. It can "walk" and "spit" all at the same time! http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/6th_Sense_Crush_Dogma_100/descpage-6SDOG.html
  5. Yep, 3rd week of October is great for the scenery, fishing may be a tad tougher than later, but it should still be decent. Deer firearms season runs from 11/14 - 11/24, good time to fish and less pressure. Just don't wear this hat if you're on the lake during firearms season:
  6. I already have that jersey, and 10 others hanging in my closet. Hardest thing is deciding which one to wear to the Expo.
  7. Good stuff, thanks!
  8. Good job!
  9. I remember watching the coverage and they showed Palaniuk fishing a point and lined up along the shore was about 10 of his family members watching. Should be pretty cool next year with the live coverage also. That's probably what I'll do Saturday and Sunday, watch the live coverage. Pretty cool to watch how they fish a local lake that I am somewhat familiar with.
  10. That bow has been eating well! Nice browns, congrats!
  11. Best day to go to the Classic Expo is the first day, if you can get off from work. I went last time it was at Grand (Expo is in Tulsa), if you wait until the weekend the place is packed shoulder to shoulder and you can hardly move. Also on the first day the exhibitors aren't that busy and the staff has time to talk. I talked to Gary Loomis, one of the Dobyns brothers and several pros. Got some free stuff also, best one was a book from ODFG that had topo maps of the major lakes in OK.
  12. I had that look yesterday ^^^, and then a different look along with some strong language when I swung and missed.
  13. Didn't notice many bait balls today, but there are minnows almost everywhere along the banks, I don't know if they are shad or not, but whatever they are, they are everywhere.
  14. Got out this morning, threw the jig around, caught a dozen bass, but only one that would rate as a keeper. Mix of smallies, spots and LM. Missed a contender, just could not get a good hookset before it got off. Still getting them off chunk rock banks, in water 5 -15 feet deep. Water temps 79-81. Going through Roaring River park on my way to the lake, saw an air temp reading of 48. Chilly out there for an August morning!
  15. Wow, some outstanding fish, congrats!
  16. 20 bass in August is a great day.
  17. Do you use a trailer on it?
  18. Here's a link to Pete's report in case you don't have it: http://www.hookedonbass.com/ Bill posted a recent report also:
  19. Same thing going on here, had some pretty strong winds come through before the storm got here.
  20. Bill, I saw 81-83 for surface temps. Only saw one dead fish, and it was a carp. There are lots of shad and they look healthy and so do the bass. I think things are setting up nicely for some good fall fishing.
  21. Thanks for the info Jon!
  22. Great pics Brett! Those are some sweet flatties.
  23. *T* - That was the biggest spot of the bunch, the rest were 12-14" fish. But fat and healthy. Champ - They were all less than 20 feet, except for one. Steep chunk rock banks, in front of the bushes.
  24. Got out at 0630 and fished until 1 PM. Got a couple of spots on the drop shot, including my biggest spot, a nice 16" fish. Could not find any schools in my drop shot locations, just a random fish here and there. Picked up a 3/8 oz green pumpkin/orange jig and started working steep banks, didn't tear them up but caught another 8 or so doing that. All spots, except for one keeper large mouth. Had one on that looked to be in the 3 lb. neighborhood (give or take a couple of pounds) that got off halfway to the boat. Swimming the jig got me a couple of fish, might be able to catch some now on cranks or swim baits. Water is sort of brown/green with a few feet of visibility. Lots of shad, they are all over the banks and saw some big schools on the fish finder. Saw lots of bluegills on the finder, and was pestered all day long by them. Saw one dead carp, but that was it as far as dead fish. Water temps 81-83.
