  1. Those are some big stockers!
  2. I don't like it - the trout is too fat. Just kidding...It looks fine.
  3. Adaptability may be a key. Aaron Martens has a rep of being a drop shot, shakey head guy, but he can fish cranks and jigs also.
  4. Big ol' drum for sure!
  5. We old guys need big print.
  6. Thanks for the heads up, I just might register for it if I think I'm going to make it over there this spring.
  7. Zona looked impressive whipping Gonzaga. They really outplayed Zaga's guards who were just too small to handle the bigger, quick Zona guards.
  8. Nice looking browns!
  9. Thanks for the heads-up. Thumbs up to MODOT for scheduling this as best they could around the summer.
  10. Welcome!
  11. Welcome!
  12. I'm an "old guy" and I like Palaniuk, I hope he does well. Not all old guys think alike, and neither do young guys. And that's a good thing. People that don't follow the herd tend to be more interesting than those that do.
  13. Very nice looking rainbow!
  14. KVD, whether a person likes him or not, does a great job in commercials. Some of those Basspro commercials he does are funny. I like the one where he and another fisherman are fishing in the BPS aquarium. "It's OK, I know a guy."
  15. I like C, then D. I don't know if I'd stick one on my boat however, mainly because once they get beat up and you want to remove it, they're so hard to get off. Might put one on the boat windshield.
  16. As a side note, Mark Davis is leading the AOY race right now. He's another guy I'd like to see win, but as far as AOY, he just needs to do well in this tourney.
  17. I'm using a 3/8 weight, and a 3/0 Mustad "Bigmouth Tube Hook". I'm Texas rigging it, or more accurately, Texposing, where you pop the hook through both sides of the tube, but just re--run the hook point barely back into the skin. It's hard for me to explain that part in words, but I believe if you do a search on Texpose there will be some videos on what that means. I'm using double dipped tubes, that's why I'm Texposing the hook as if the hook point is buried in the skin, it can be tough to punch through that skin on the hook set. Using single dip tubes that wouldn't be a problem.
  18. Yep SEC was definitely under rated. No doubt if Arkansas and Mizzou had been allowed in the tourney, we'd now have 5 SEC teams in the final 16.
  19. Yep, 2nd picture.
  20. I like the Kentucky/Louisville matchup. Not that I'm a fan of either team, but it's a great rivalry and hopefully will be fun to watch.
  21. Caught a few today, maybe 15 total with 6 or so keepers. Some on the tube and some on the 3/8 oz jig. Jig bite seems to be picking up. Got a "Babler slam" today - Meanmouth, smalle, LM, and Spots. Water temps were pretty steady in the 47-48 range.
  22. Good ones!

    2014 Garden

Planted some onion sets a couple of days ago - never have raised onions so we'll see how that goes. Planted snow peas also. Burpee came out with a sweet corn variety that is made for containers, going to give that a try in some of the containers I have. Also will plant tomatoes, and cantaloupe in a few weeks.
  24. Excellent!

    Shockers!

Didn't see the KU game, but tough loss for them also.
