  1. Nice, quality fish, congrats!
  2. Nice sticker.
  3. The "late start" makes no sense - they rank a lake in northern WI #1 - talk about a late starting lake! I don't have a dog in this fight, so I don't care that much - but I agree the ranking system is messed up.
  4. Good deal, I bet with the knowledge you picked up fishing with Bill, you're going to catch a bunch of fish while you are here.
  5. Excellent, sounds like a great time and company to fish with.
  6. Excellent, thanks for the report!
  7. No way Calipari would have stayed had he been hired. He might have given them a good run for 3-4 years.
  8. I remember the name, sorry to hear of his passing.
  9. Good luck, looks like you'll have some nice weather!
  10. Good deal Alex, that has to be fun catching those smallies like that!
  11. Welcome!
  12. He's doing good, the weather does not affect him at all.
  13. I agree, I've gone into the deepest part of my house (the basement), sitting tight up against the wall, and I've lost my appetite.
  14. I see that Bassmaster magazine has ranked Sturgeon Bay, WI as the #1 bass destination in the USA. Lots and lots of big smallies - I wonder if they've even seen the Ned? That would be a fun road trip to go up there and fish for those smallies.
  15. Sounds like some great fishing, thanks for the report!
  16. I was thinking of going tomorrow, but I might just save my gas money for when it warms up again.
  17. Good tip.
  18. Probably the citric acid in the Dew that made them go nuts, fish are very sensitive to it.
  19. Yeah that wind was a booger yesterday, it's been hard to get away from it this spring. Weather guesser last night was saying there's a potential for a light frost tomorrow AM. Sheesh...
  20. Excellent! Glad to see you got into them.
  21. Love those big gills, great to see you and the boys had a good day!
  22. I fish them in the post-spawn into summer. various watermelon colors are my mainstay along with green pumpkin, but under low light conditions I'll throw black or black red flake. I usually T-rig them and fish them on steep chunk rock banks. But they worked c-rigged and on wobble-heads. I don't do much shaky heading, but I'm sure they'll work on a shaky head.
  23. Thanks for the report!
  24. Good deal, I love it when the top water bite gets going.
