2 games over .500 now. They've been playing well, winning 8 of the last 10, but unfortunately Detroit has won 9 out of the last 10. Didn't do much before the trade deadline, adding a right handed batting platoon type outfielder. I was hoping they would get a bat at 2nd base. It will be interesting to see what they do during the off season.

Lancer you are optimistic, but I hope you are right. Only thing I would say about the Indy comparison is they have, based on only one year's performance, an elite QB.

Duck - I think I saw you guys go by me, I waved, and I was in a silver/gun metal/black Phoenix. I'll keep an eye out for you next time, and like wise, if you see me, stop by. Man you are right about the humidity, sweat was running down my back by 7 AM.

The bass did not like me this morning, caught 8 with 2 keepers, both being 15" smallmouth. Got a few on jigs, one on a top water, couple on the drop shot, and one on the Trick worm. Had a couple of chasers chase the worm in, I'm thinking that a fluke or soft swim bait may have worked. May have to give that a shot next time. Water temp 81-82. Appears to be a bit of an algae bloom going on.

What part of the lake will you be fishing? Are you targeting bass?

They're playing some decent ball lately. I can't see them making the playoffs however. I think they need to add a good starting pitcher and a big bat or two to be playoff contenders. Rumblings are that the Phillies are willing to part with Cliff Lee, but I doubt the Royals will step up.

If the umbrella rig is legal in AR, I don't see how they can deny it's a world record.

Great to see the youngster getting into some fish! That Yammie/Road Runner combo looks like a killer combo, I'm thinking that might fool a bass or two on Table Rock.

I've been using them on 1/4 oz ball heads. I put a drop of superglue on the head to hold them on, darn things are soft and tear up easily. One of these days I'm going to try them on a c-rig.
