  1. One of these days I'm going to fish that lake, thanks for the report!
  2. BPS is now offering free shipping on orders for fishing stuff over $25.
  3. I have never fished that color, but I'd be happy to shoot them an email asking them to make some 18-20-136, enough guys do it and maybe they'll run a batch, it would probably help if as part of the request that we make a commitment to buy X number of bags direct from GYCB.
  4. Do they do a lie detector test for the winners?
  5. 22lbs. is a heck of a bag for Beaver.
  6. Thanks for the report, glad to hear you guys got into them! I did a few laps around the Windsor dam yesterday afternoon for some exercise, talked to a guy that was loadind his boat, said he did real well on bluegill and redear.
  7. If you can't find the colors you want locally, you can always order them from the Yamamoto web site.
  8. Been a Sox fan for most of my like, used to live outside of Boston. So I naturally hate the Yankees. I remember the days of the Willie Wilson - George Brett Royals, Sox would come to KC and always have a tough time.
  9. Cool, I'd offer some advice but it's been a few weeks since I've fished Windsor, I keep meaning to get over there. Good luck and I'll be interested to hear how you do.
  10. Might be time to unleash the bigger Keitechs on them, Lake Fork Tackle has come out with a paddletail Magic Shad that I like the looks of, haven't fished it yet however.
  11. Yeah I saw a lot of slime in the point 23 area in certain spots. I hate that stuff.
  12. I'll have to check out that website, thanks! Nice rig rps. So do any of you think this rig is better than fishing t-rigged plastics are far as catching more bass? Sounds like it gets hung up less which is a plus, but the bottom line for me is whether it puts more fish in the boat.
  13. Yeah that bridge would be very dangerous when the water is at the right level, especially for boaters not familiar with the design.
  14. Sorry to hear about your friend. Here's a link to a BBC board thread on this, shows some pictures of the bridge at low water and explains how the accident happened. http://www.bbcboards.net/bbc-lounge/371872-deadly-boat-crash-ky-lake.html
  15. I've been using heat shrink tubing, Senkos last a lot longer than using the O rings with heat shrink.
  16. Pitching wasn't good last night, I really want them to beat the darn Yankees.
  17. Little Sugar was angry and brown yesterday, so you might be getting some muddy water. Are you going for LM or panfish?
  18. I didn't see any three weeks ago when I was last up there. Back half on Indian creek was really stained, it may have cleared up since then, but hard to say after this latest big rain. I may drive over this weekend and take a look.
  19. Good idea Snakem, I'm going to try that.
  20. Funny to see that SM caught on a fluke, I caught one yesterday that spit up not one, but two white Zoom flukes. I caught him on a Shakeyhead - that was one dumb fish.
  21. Yeah they showed some pop last night, hopefully it continues. Starting pitching has been decent also.
  22. It hasn't come up as much as I thought it would, but maybe it's still got a ways to go.
  23. Got out a little late this morning, wish I would have left earlier as there was a decent topwater bite early. I didn't catch any big fish on the topwater, but had a few blowups that looked to be good sized fish, for some reason the bigger fish were missing it or knocking it sideways and the smaller guys were finding the hooks. I was using a Yozuri Wack-o which is a 4" pencil popper that also has some walk the dog action. Sporadic topwater blowups would happen in the backs of coves and pockets and if you could lay a topwater on them, they would usually hit it. Caught a couple on the grub, a few on the shakey head, and a couple c-rigging the UV speed craw. Got about 20 total with a couple of keepers, mostly spots, couple of smallies and a few LM's. Water temps were 64-64.
