Big M is 49 miles from my house in Bella Vista, Eagle Rock may be a mile or two closer. Both are good launches with courtesy docks.

I can see being a bit ticked if they charged you 40 for a "yearly" launch fee and then closed the gate.

If you like panfish, you might want to chase the bluegill if the crappie fishing is tough. There are some quality gills in that lake.

Got one of the new Mo Craws today. Sides are lighter, sort of a light pink. It does have an orange belly which doesn't show in the pic above. Might still be a fish catcher, but I think it's a bit off from what most of us think as being Missouri Craw.

I thought the State owns or leases that land now, did you buy a COE annual pass? Is it good at Viney? As I recall, the state took it over last year and shut it down for the winter, but maybe the gate was left open so people could still launch?

Arkansas loss was inexplicable and downright embarrassing. I started watching in the 3rd quarter when I saw the score. I didn't plan on watching because what fun is it to watch the Hogs pummel TOLEDO 56 to 7, right? Anyway, from what I saw, the Hogs got beat by the better team yesterday, they didn't lose because of fluke plays or bad calls, they lost because they were flat outplayed.

Dave's heads with Mustad hooks minimizes the rust problem. I've got some I glued up early in the spring that are still good.
