Cool, I'm anxious to see that. I need to work on the swimming part of my Ned game, pretty much been bottom contact fishing for me.

Just finished watching that Tenkiller episode. Seems like the only guy having fun was Morizo. I agree that they should let those guys use rubber nets, those one pound bass flapping around with a face full of Redfin treble hooks are no joy to unhook.

Table Rock fishing report, Big M area. Finally, a warm day, it was a great day for this time of the year to get out and do some fishing! I did not get too far from the Big M area, I targeted points and cove mouths with the Ned rig to start the day. Fishing was slow, and finding them is the hard part. I found two cove mouths that held a few fish, common characteristic was cove mouths with trees in water 10-30 feet deep. It sure wasn't a hot bite, but caught a half dozen on the Ned, one being a solid keeper largemouth. Had to fish a 1/8 oz Ned, deep and slow off the bottom to get bites. Late in the morning and into the afternoon, it really got breezy, couldn't fish the Ned in some of the other spots I wanted to try, just too frustrating trying to work it deep and slow when you've got white caps. Started throwing a 110 around, and I found a shallow, rocky bank with a breeze on it and afternoon sun, picked up 4 largemouth relatively quickly on the 110, and picked up another one going back down the bank with a Ned. 3 of them were chunky keepers. These fish were all shallow, none deeper than 10 feet. Water temps ranged from 39-42.

Ned rig will catch a walleye every now and then.

They are also running the MLF top level tournament on Saturdays (I think), well that's when they air the show. They were up in Maine. Mostly catching smallies, but there are LM in those lakes also. Best strategy is to load up on 1-2 lb. smallies.

Haven't seen last nights yet (have it on DVR) but saw one a few weeks ago where they were on Tenkiller. They caught a lot of fish, mostly LM and spots, and few smallies. Sweet looking lake, I'd like to get down there someday.

Here's a report from Pete Wenners, unfortunately he didn't fish last week either, so not much info in this weeks report, but if you look at his Jan 7 report I think you'll get info that probably still applies. http://www.hookedonbass.com/FISHREPORT.htm One thing I'm going to try, is in the afternoon find a bank with sun on it and a breeze blowing onto it. With these relatively warm days there may be a few fish that move up shallow looking for something to eat.

I didn't know the Mag and Flats had jumped in price. You're right, the pre-rapala Mags were basically selling for retail or less.

I want to hold a warm fish, I'm tired of those slimy popsicles that a person catches (sometimes) in TR.

Been too cold lately to fish. I need temps above, or at least near, freezing.

Going over to Swepco tomorrow, but may give Big M a shot Saturday AM myself.

This winter is the craziest I have seen it for the pre-rap Warts. Seems that even, beat up, off colors, will still get at least $20.

I haven't been fishing in a couple of weeks, haven't played with any new lures. So I have nothing to say. But I plan to be on the water starting tomorrow.

I wonder if they thought it was a steelhead, but I've never seen one that fat. Looks like a triploid rainbow or something like that.

Darn Hogs lost in Tenn. last night also. Out of control and taking dumb shots on offence, and interior defense was weak.

I stuck with it to about midway through the 3rd quarter. Didn't have any dogs in the fight, so I didn't care that much. Wish they would start the game an hour earlier, and quit reviewing every other play, it's turning into a 4 hour marathon.

I'm planning on going, unless the weather gets really bad.
