  1. Thanks for the great report, spinnerbaits in the bushes - is this August?
  2. Day 2 results are in, Palaniuk still clinging to the lead, but a bunch of guys are close including KVD. http://www.bassmaster.com/tournaments/2013-elite-series-st-lawrence-river-showdown/leaderboard

    Chiefs

Yep I may watch a bit of it, I'm not too big on pre-season FB, but I might be able to stand about a quarter or so.
  4. You're right about that small head. Almost has a body shape like a carp.
  5. Excellent! I hope you get into some.
  6. Those Yankee smallies are fat for sure. They talk like 7 lbers. (or better) are possible where those guys are fishing. I can't imagine catching a 7 lb. smallie.
  7. If you go, I'd like to hear what you see as far as water conditions.
  8. If there's a camera around, Cuban will try and get in front of it.
  9. Thanks for the idea.

    Debris

Probably will be a lot of floating timber out there moving down lake if they keep running water.
  11. Or you could buy one of these for much less. http://www.basspro.com/Frabill-Grip-N-Check-Fish-Measurer/product/10208121/
  12. Yeah I'm wondering how much water came in on Indian creek.
  13. I agree, enough is enough!
  14. Hollister made the national news, NBC had Mike Siedel reporting from there last night. What a mess.
  15. He's got the day 1 lead. Lots of guys within striking distance however. http://www.bassmaster.com/tournaments/2013-elite-series-st-lawrence-river-showdown/leaderboard
  16. Well we can hope... Tampa Bay and Texas are leading the wild card race, and they have Cleveland and Baltimore to jump over also. It's going to be tough. http://scores.nbcsports.msnbc.com/mlb/standings_wildcard.asp
  17. Bruce Chen pitched well last night.
  18. Almost stopped by there yesterday, but didn't do it. If I go by there today, I'll check it out.
  19. No need to apologize MOpanfisher, thanks for the perspective from the COE side of things. I always say that we are lucky to have the COE parks and ramps on our big lakes in his area. Keep up the good work!
  20. Looks like you can scoop them up with your hands.
  21. Is the road through the park still open?
  22. Yeah pretty incredible, and the water had come down some before I took these pics.
  23. Here's a couple of pictures I snapped today of what are usually dry creeks or have very little water flowing through them. These are tributaries to Little Sugar. Tanyard creek looking roughly north across 340. You can see the top of the golf cart bridge in the middle of the pic. This creek was practically dry a couple of weeks ago. The top of that bridge is probably at least 8 feet above the creek bed in dry times. Here's some flowing water running through the softball field, fence is taken out. The creek that is causing this flooding is located back in the trees. Another shot, you can see gravel that is deposited by the outhouse, outhouse has been moved about 50 yards.

    Thanks for the warning.
  25. I was told that 71 near the MO border was almost shut down this morning because of Little Sugar flooding.
