  1. That was a long time before Brokeback Mountain.
  2. Don't forget my favorite, James Bond Homeland Security Agent....
  3. I use heat shrink waterproof butt connectors on all splices. LEDS, and best parts I can find. Ground trailer to tow vehicle with wire, not just the ball. Last major fail, mouse got in tube trailer and chewed up a run. Need to chain neighbors cat to fender. But have been dropping Just One Bite chunks all over. Chipmunks and squirrels have become scarce too. Have to try liquid tape thing. Guess it helps with corrosion at connection?
  4. Trailer Wiring Sucks. Seems like every other trip something crashes.
  5. Do you still have that one sitting around??
  6. I usually do a walk around and check the hub temps when I am pulling and get out for anything. I drag mine alot too. I take the bear buddies off each season and repack like normal, fix any leaky seals.

I have used CDC for years. I had a natural supply duck hunting, just pluck all the feathers away from the oil glands. Ziploc bags stuffed away of it. The fibers trap air, but the pure thing has the oils on them. But, usually only good for one fish then put them up to dry. The slime wets it down. I have a killer caddis fly that is simply a hackle tail, hare ear body, and cdc wing. Several others, RS2 spinners for the spent mayflies. Some midges. I always used natural cdc. I always assumed that you would have to rinse in soap to get rid of the oil for it to take a dye. Then, all you have is the fibers.
  8. Just came back from the gunshow in Cape. 30-30 was going for $50 a box. Tables full of it with Old Farts that have nothing better to do than stalk the Wally Worlds every morning and see what rolls in. Then resell it for a raping profit. Pretty sad show. Consoled one dealer on the loss of his father I have known for years. Several regular knife dealers were no-shows. Nothing to be had and everything way over priced. Sold out show, but lots of empty tables for a Friday nite. Its a big show that used to draw from other areas. I have met some interesting people at them. One was a airgun specialist from up around KC. Many different knife guys. A few that collect and resell specific guns. Most were older gents, may have lost them to the Covid or they have just holed up waiting it out.
  9. That's Midway Usa, Potterfield's Company in Columbia MO.. https://www.midwayusa.com/ Great company, been in business a long time.
  10. Pre drill the holes and you should be good. Just don't torque them down too tight.

Do you have a way to dye them black???
  12. They built them better back then. Engineers seemed to know how to make things then.
  13. I love the stick steer on a Jet, you sit high in the front and can see whats coming. Sometimes. When I got cancer 2.0, we were looking for a hull to replace this one. It was getting beat up and there is a leak somewhere, either rivets or the livewell lines. I came across a Panfish 17 with a 60/40 jet on it. It has the revolution V back on the hull. My buddy drove in from Tn and picked me up to meet the guy in St. Marys. We took it for a run on the river slough there and fell in love with it. Only took a few trips to flatten out the V to where it stopped cavitating. Its a bigger, stronger boat and have fished it almost exclusively since. This one was reserved for 11 Pt trips where we were limited to 25 Hp. And now its mine.
  14. Crank the air up on the nail gun if they are Oak Pallets. Probably will split them though.
  15. Actually, handgun ammo and most self defense rifle calibers started disappearing about the time the Black Lives Matter movement started. Everything else collapsed in Nov. upset/burglary.

Nice simple pattern. One problem, I have never killed a duck with black cdc puffs. I wonder how they dye cdc and it still retains its bouyancy?
  17. All I can say is "May Covid be upon them". I have one x wife also. I still pity her poor second husband that she talked into dumping his wife for her. His x wife had a better lawyer than mine.
  18. Cooler tray. Leaving it out. Had a tool box in there yesterday.
  19. I took possession of a boat that I have fished out of with a buddy of mine since the 90's. It was repowered in 2010 with the Merc 25 4 stroker. The boat has been banged off most of the rocks and a few stumps on the 11 pt for years. Welded and straightened out a few times. But it still floats and sheds water. I have been working on it all winter, adding new things and fixing broken stuff. It had been setting for 2 years since we last used it. But I took it out on a shakedown run this afternoon. Heading to Van Buren this weekend for a run on the Current River. Sporting new OAF decals.
  20. That bridge has been sketchy since the first time I drove over it in 1987. I think it was about a hundred years old then.
  21. Saw that. Never can figure out how you could hurt a young kid. His cloakin device was better than mine, had been awol for a while.
  22. I sold mine at a bake sale. Pennies on the dollar, fractions of pennies actually if the IRS is watching.
  23. Then my cloaking device is working well. Supper just came out of the oven. The fart was probably my wife, she has been in the bathroom taking a shower for 30 minutes. I'm fine. Take the shot. I am sicker of the Mask Nazi's hounding me when I go bareback.
  24. Not very much. My AR's use more effective rounds... 6.5 Grendel, 300 Blk Out, 9 mm, and the new .350 Legend. You could find 350 Legend until November. The 5.56 are for predators and ground hogs.
  25. Whatever that is. A few weeks back, my Dr. Buddy kept insisting that I register for the Covid Shot. I tried at Barnes when I went in for the Biopsy to get a shot, but no dice. You have to register with the DHSS website to get on the list. Its the only way unless an employer sets it up or you do it thru the VA. You put some personal info on a website and Bam, you get a day to set an appointment. A few hiccups yesterday, but 5 minutes wait for the actual shot, I walked out with the first dose of Phizer. Arm bothered me and injection site soreness. Today, stiff neck and headache. But I survived the first one and the nanobites are circulating around coagulating a gps fix so the Feds can find me from now on.....
