  1. nice quill!!
  2. Decided to leave the bottom bouncer rods at home and just troll today we fished from 1:30pm til 8pm and only caught 4 walleyes and 3 were keepers....tough today, long time between bites.
  3. I can wait!!....I hope my expectations aren't to high....I know this is bass country but I hope they have a walleye selection......I know it won't be like walking in one of their stores up North but I hope they sell a little walleye tackle.
  4. Three of us fished from 6:30am til noon and we boated 9 walleyes and 4 of them kept and lost 3 keepers at boat....all on bb and crawlers 20-22FOW...area fished was Rambo creek to Big Clifty.
  5. How did u do today?
  6. My son and I fished from 6:30am til noon and got 7 walleyes and 5 of them were keepers.....bottom bouncer and crawler 20FOW on chunk rock points.....I love to troll I just havent did much trolling this yr but have got a few trolling...good job Fin!.....since there is very few fisherman that target walleye's on Beaver u get some strange looks when they ask what I'm fishing for and I tell them walleye.....A guy today couldn't belive we had caught 7.
  7. I haven't fished sisters...thats another creek u are thinking about.
  8. Bryce White River Marine is good...He is east of Springdale by the 412 bridge.
  9. Why don't anyof the local stores carry walleye tackle??.....There is getting to be several walleye fisherman on Beaver...I hope Cabelas will carry a walleye selection....
  10. I think this is great!!!!
  11. I didn't think they was coming back to Beaver? ?
  12. Flicker shads are great but if u are wanting to get deep they will only dive to about 15ft so u will need a snap weight or I would suggest lead core line....The taildancers are a great bait also and they will dive fairly deep on their own depending on the size of TD u get....ReefRunners are great baits and the biggest size RR will dive to 28ft....They are tricky to tune but well worth the trouble.
  13. U can't even tell its the weekend on BS.....Night and day difference between the two lakes.
  14. Nolan....Fish Bull Shoals that is your answer.
  15. Martin I heard a story of a guy that got caught with a short walleye at Holiday Island and it cost him $250....A guy could buy several cranks with $250!
  16. I guess experienced "boarders" don't need them they can just tell how the board is riding in the water but the tattle flag sure helps me.......Last trip out I was with a friend and he didn't have his tattle boards with him so we were using "standard" boards and we drug 3 small fish long distances without realizing we had fish.
  17. There is a tighter spring u can get...C-73 is the number on Ace Hardware.com...and I have them but they were so tight that small fish wouldn't pull the flag down....So I put the lighter ones back on but the 800 don't pull them back anyways....
  18. Unless your a real handy man I would just buy them.....
  19. Mike your probably right its been a few years since I got mine...
  20. B/B means Bottom Bouncer......I think boards cost around $30 for a pair and about $20 for the "tattle flag" upgrade.....so $50 all together for two boards.....
  21. I would suggest adding "tattle flags" to your boards....it will save u from dragging small fish for long distances....And don't forget the Golden Rule when using boards and u have a fish on....Don't just let the line go after u have unhooked your board,u will get slack in your line and u run a very high risk of loosing the fish.
  22. You should be able to find the eye's in 15-20FOW now.
  23. Quill Which creek did you hang the Walleye??
