Factors kept me from fishing the past two years. Ready to start again. Appreciate this forum. Generally in the past I have only launched from Eagle Rock to various Hwy 13 ramps (Mill Creek, Kimberling City). I would like to try other areas to the east - Is the Old Hwy 86 a good/safe ramp? On Google earth the parking is more than Long Creek. Thank you for your help

Bought some Trilene Big Game last week. The labels state: 8 lb test -diameter is .011 inches avg. 10 lb test - diameter is .012 15 lb test -diameter is .015

I appreciate your posts and note that you asked about the minnkota connection plates and using either/or on one boat. BassCat pro Jamey Caldwell uses both, switching back and forth for different lakes. http://www.jameycaldwell.com/ I have discussed this with him via pm at the BassCat owners board - but I am leaning toward the Xi5.
