    What's Cooking?

    Dang!
  2. Yep Jeff they are lining up in Oklahoma and Kansas and blowing up. Just issued a thunderstorm warning between us. Big batch heading up I 44 towards Joplin . Radar shows it just now getting there.
  3. Nothing yesterday but Saturday one came through and took out a 15 year old apple tree. If it had just leaned some I would of tried to gradually pull it back. This broke roots and went down way too far. So I had to make a trip this morning to town. It was real dark in the West. Went to the bank drive through and the first round hit. High winds and torrential rain. Even under the drive in canopy it rocked the truck. When done I drove to the neighboring car wash bay for awhile. It let up and I booked it for home. Just pulled into the shed/ shop/ garage. Then the hail hit. It was so loud it was hurt my ears. Not real big but it worked over the lettuce and bok choy in the garden. Lots of holes in the leaves. I shot a couple pics and covered my ears until it was over. This was the first round. As @Quillback said second and worse round coming later. Counties just to the south are in a tornado watch. I'm sure we will be included before this is over. You all be safe.
  4. Very invasive, They were pushed hard for a few years because they grow fast, make good shade if they don't blow over and are somewhat a bit better planted under power lines due to not getting really tall. Like you said Ness they are becoming a nuisance choking out native plants and trees.
  5. Good job Seth! There are so many variations on seasoning the meat you can take that recipe and run with it. I did stumble upon my second bird. Maybe he stumbled upon me. Actually a bit of both .

Yesterday, And then today! Yesterday for us and todays is for gifting. Thank you again Ness.
  10. Good for you guys! Hey gar have green eggs and they are thoroughbreds.
  11. Oh but wait there was more to the story. As the mermaid sang the song to her micro fishing mate there was a distant yearning deep in her heart for Barry Manilow .
  12. Amazing!
  13. Oh I can see it now. A mermaid on a dock was crabbing singing her siren song. Trying to lure her micro fishing Neptune husband from his other love of a strange unknown species. Dang sounds kind of kinky.

Dang Mitch! The BilletHead's would be all over that. Thank you.
  15. Thanks for the update. I will be awaiting more reports and the healing process of that shoulder. Mine needs done and told to wait as long as I can. I know that was not your case but will be a basis of what I may do someday. Heal well man.

    Good man!
  17. Tell her I said it would be EPIC!
  18. Would you post a video of her singing it for us ? Would be even better if she did it while crabbing!
  19. Scary stuff Mitch. They are still learning about this virus. Did you see the report where some kids have extremities like fingers and toes that look like frostbite.
  20. 3000 more cases in TN then in MO JD. Be careful and have fun. Less deaths compared to here. Must be bunch tougher down there. Catch a few for me.
  21. Any guesses who will be the next one to get the last word in?
  22. Then they all should move the rhetoric to the political forum right?
  23. Jeff shouldn't have to do it. Pack it up boys and move please. don't be embarrassed to ask someone for the password. Is that why no one is doing it?
