  1. I have quite the imagination, just ask Pat 🤣.
  2. Yeah can't you update and put our pictures on that?😆 Tina Turner comes to mind. We don't need another hero.
  3. I do. It's still safer to go floating than get in your car and go somewhere.
  4. Old cogerdome! I like that I see a Mad Max sequel for us oldsters in there somewhere.
  5. Epic deal. National, I could get into that!
  6. No, they don't but if they did as much as you travel to fish those options are a bargain!
  7. We never forget! Lifetime for us old folks so the dementia in my future will not be applicable. I may forget to go fishing but will have the documents when you want to take me out of the nursing home Ham. Did I mention it includes hunting? You might not want to take me to do that. 😁
  8. That would get you launched 😀. This will get the fish heading upstream. Thanks Phil.
  9. I was responding to your thoughts about power lines being a legal place to access waterways. It's irrelevant if a bridge is close. It's illegal to trespass without permission. As far as creeks and streams are involved I would like to access also. Where does the public road right of way end and property ownership begin on sides of the bridge. Its a slippery slope so to say. We could live in Wyoming and not be able to stand or drop anchor on any stream or river bottom with private ownership. We could live on Montana where you are permitted to access at bridges and legally walk the banks below the NORMAL high water mark. Not the high water mark.
  10. Ya think Glen will believe us? You are (were) a moderator and I don't know squat. 😆
  11. Here is the deal Glen, A power line easement is an agreement between the landowner and the utility company for the power company to use and maintain. It is not owned by the power company. It's still owned by the landowner and they have the say who gets to trespass. You can be prosecuted by the owner. If it's not posted and you want to go by all means do as you do but you have no legal right to do so. Defer to your attorney if you think I'm wrong. 😀
  12. I will and know a guy that might have something or some intel on that. I will try to get ahold of him in a few days. It's a bucket not a basket 😁.
  13. If that powerline easement crosses the river, it is not for you and me. It is for the powerline builders and maintenance crews only. And what makes you think access is and should be permitted?
  14. Cool deal right there Dan, I have had 20 plus years in that field of work. Lots you can do with that rig.
  15. I guess we should all chip in and get @Linhardt a horse, saddle and USPS approved official set of saddlebags.
  16. Well CRAP sorry to hear about this.
  17. Me to but took a break during the nice weather. Bees are going nuts in and out of the hives since the rain stopped and the sun came out. Tomorrow I will be at the vice. Ness I am glad you are out of your funk.
  18. This is really getting bad Anthony. I have an amazon order I placed from February 13 lost in the mail from a third-party vendor. Supposed to wait 48 hours for them to get back to me. I have a lithium deep cycle battery that set in a USPS sorting center in Kansas City over a week before starting to move through the system and it still took several more days to get here. It cost me 25 bucks plus to send a small box of feathers, the package you responded about and another envelope of a couple fly's all weighing close to nothing all staying in our state and now the post office rates are on schedule to go up again. Took well over a week to get a package from J Stockard in St louis. It got here yesterday and had been ripped up in three places where yiu could tell it got caught in a sorting machine. The item was still in there though.
  19. Good deal but if the mail back box won't work let me know please.
  20. Crazy post office nowadays. Guess it beats pony express. Tracking showed our package made it to you. Eight days to travel approx. 100 miles. Did it make it alright? If you don't think you can get Pat's and my self's flies in the return box let me know and I will send something else. Thanks again for hosting the swap.

    What's Cooking?

    Awesomeness!
  22. When we get older waking up is a good thing.
  23. Actually thinking about this I can relate. I had sinus surgery a week ago today. It was way more than I expected. I figured piece of cake. Nope. I was coming off of anesthesia. I have never had a harder time with just that. No real pain just discomfort. Even though I had the required ride (Pat) I did not feel right at all. What was supposed to take an hour to an hour and a half became two and a half hours. This was just in the second recovery room where Pat was waiting. I was nauseous big time no barfing but on the verge. Foggy headed not in control. I am one who wants to be in control. I didn't feel too pushed to leave but I can remember several times that the nurse came in and asked if I was ready to get out of there. I wasn't because I just wasn't right as I should be at that time. I responded once that I wasn't right and felt safer there as opposed to being on the way home. This really set that nurse on edge. She said is there something we should talk about. In a tone that I knew she was really thinking I was scared of something. Really quick I said I'm safe at home but I don't feel at this time I can be safer health wise after the surgery. She calmed down and said we are not rushing you stay as long as you need to. Took me three days to unfog my head. I did not like this.
