How neat Kendall!
Nice you stayed home. Bet you get to eat some if they will share. Been five or so years since we went. Yes we as I had Pat tag along. Sluge, slime and skeeters she endured.
So do you rent out them there boys? Must be nice to have them supply such a fine meal
I kind of like my sage rods and no I did not pay full price. TFO is just as good a rod.
Oh and this from the hey dude promoter. Which by the way want to thank you. I have a pair now and now my crocks suck compaired to the feel of the new dudes.
Did you watch the whole thing and listen to what they had to say? I don't think so because it was explained. weather is cold and I too will wear waders in a boat. I think it was jig fest that turned me onto that deal. A Core body windbreaker.
These are flyfisher folks.
Hey Ronnie,
Give a shucked shell to your dog. It will eat it like candy. I was watching Sadie and she would make her yard patrol. She would work each tree and every shuck she could reach she ate them.
Vegan dinner? Well sort of there is butter and a slice of toast involved. Corn on the cob and chanterelles on toast. When Pat calls leaving from work she will have a plate waiting her arrival,
Really there is a slice of sourdough under the chanterelles,
Started checking my roadside places for one to show up. they are and that got me off the road looking a bit harder. Great crop and some of the best quality I have ever found. Thick stalks on some and the beetles and worms had not infested them. Gave the mushroom knife a good work out,
An old man of the woods. Supposed to be edible but not choice. I'll pass.
Trip paid off even with the inclement weather.
My buddies favorite saying during trying times. You have to be tough when your stupid. I know of things like that!
Nope just right off the cob. Never had it loose flavor or color. Actually I think it is better than blanched flavor wise have done it both ways. Used to also put butter in pack before vac sealing. Put bag in boiling water to cook. Now just in a pan so to season with S&P to taste as it warms up.
Pretty blessed to have farmer friends who do this planting on a grand scale. Have three that call depending on harvest each year. Still have a bag full of cleaned ears to eat off the cob. Could pick more but when is enough, enough?
Vac sealed 14 packages of cut off cob corn which in each pack 2 plus cups. Do not like the amount of room they take up in freezer as opposed to canning and put in pantry but that changed in the taste of frozen.
Which do you prefer frozen or canned?
