  1. Nice fish Bill I fished from 8-12 with 3 drinks on c-rig doctor on secondary points in aunts creek seen gulls there as well but didn't make a move had to get home to some honey-do's Tried every transition i could find nothing the ones i caught were right on top of the points in 10'of water I guess better luck to me next time
  2. Thanks Bill That report was astounding. Appreciate what you do on here. If a guy can't figure out where what and how they may need to find a different pass time. That info is unreal. Being that detailed a man can drop his boat in about anywhere and has a really good starting strategy. Thanks Bill
  3. Fished that area also with little luck. Started on main lake points with jerkbait and c rig no luck moved to creek secondary points and same lures no luck there. Decided to pull out the rest the junk and junk fished the rest of the day. The lady wasn't kind this trip not a bit thru the sink too with no results maybe next time. Which will be in a couple of weeks i have to work all we with no days off to seek it with grand opening at work this week if you all get a chance stop by the ne hardware store in KC and at least get a burger or dog
  4. Let in rain him out those fair weather fisherman and pleasure boats That will let those who want to fish get after it Hope the fishies are biting
  5. Good luck this morning Bill Having to goto work making me jealous btw will be on the pond on Sunday rain r shine chunkin the kitchen at em.
  6. Great job Champ that is pretty impressive considering the amount boat traffic and angling pressure that lake has received in the last 30 days. Definitely a great job.
  7. do you still have baits and 30 for all?
  8. Thanks Champ I had thought about going sat to that area sat. but decided to stay close to home with gas high as all get up. Don't get many reports out of that area. Glad to know to stay away from there sat. thanks for the report and good luck
  9. Bill When you pick a rod for ds what kinda action do you prefer? The rods that are designed for ds or something else?
  10. ABSOLUTELY BRUTAL HERE ALSO!!!!!!! Fished from the very back of Cow Creek to the back of Indian Point, and all points in between. Tried everything from squarebill to dropshot. Mustard up 4 very short fish 2 on sqaurebill and 2 on dropshot. Had a hard time locating the bait yesterday and when I did was unable to get bit. Miss Table Rock was just plain being mean yesterday, sounds like she didn't care to who either. better luck next time
  11. I own a 1992 482v with a 150 and I have a deck extension to make a full flippin deck the boat is a nice boat only draw back is the rod locker is only long enuf for a 7ft rod and it is tight at that. Plenty of storage and dry ride and still runs strong
  12. the difference i see is i the rattles and lip angle other than that the colors might be better than old but way to many colors just need a few and leave it at that

  20. hey Tfsh4bass how far back did you go into indian, (and is that indian point or indian creek by baxter) was at indian point area and had some success with wart(green craw) and j-bait in (tablerock shad) only 3 keepers, 4 shorts all lm. my fish were on points going into pockets
  21. went out of indian point at noon to 5. was SLOW had 14 smj and a nice fat 15 spot and a 12 spot all on drop shot around deep docks tried everything from crank, jerkbait to jig but ended with dropshot
  22. Bill I was wondering if the crappie bite that you have been on is still going or has it changed. I am goin to be able to go thursday, friday, and sat. and was wanting to get on some of those slabs. and would adding minnows to jig help hook up ratio or is the jig bite good enough. Thanks for any feedback and I will post any results on those nights when i get in John
  23. Bill went out sat morn and took step son he don't like goin much but if i can get him away from xbox then i'll take him. anyway put inat aunts and fished several docks for them crappie and had some success til wind was to ruff. caught them in about 10 ft and on white and white chart 1/8 hair jigs. ended up with 15 keeps and 20 or so shorts. got windy and went to bass fishing and introduced him to wiggle wart fishing. caught several shorts but no keeps. the kid was in bed by 9 and out til 9 the next day. oh and by the way Bill I work with Pat Byrnes. Said for you to come by high school and visit if you get the chance thanks again for all your reports and info for us weekenders. sure helps eliminating alot of water
  24. it may be the vro oil pump i have 1994 150 johnson and mine did that and then my motor problems started. blowed 2 powerheads in a matter of months. come to find out that vro oil pump wasnt regulating the oil correctly and caused motor to run rich at idle and lean at full throttle. burn motor. that is what happened to me with symptoms you listed. with 3rd powerhead i unhooked vro and mix my gas. kinda a pain to mix by hand but ease of mind that fuel has correct mixture at full throttle. that is my two cents, i'm not a paid mechanic but since it is so expensive to have one worked on i have learned alot on vro and omc outboards. and since i have had 3rd powerhead on no problems.
  25. pretty much the same for me Bill. fished from 4pm til 10 at night trying to get the evening bite with the nite blade bite. nada, nothing, zip. i don't think live would have caught a fish, thanks for the report Bill i do appreciate the reports you give it does allow myself to at least have a better shot at catchin a few nibblers. thanks again Bill
