Might need to make some nachos this weekend. We have some leftover taco chicken from the burritos. I'm sure my wife will be excited, tortilla chips are still tortillas in her book.

Nothing new. Just distractions to keep we the people from noticing all the fingers in the pie. Substitute big ears for fish face and you have the fox news talking points during the Obama presidency.

Yes, love Dewey's seasonal salads. Would take Rich and Charlie's over Pasta House but haven't had either for a long time.

We usually have a few come through in the spring at our feeder. Haven't seen one this year and was beginning to think we missed them. Been waiting on some orioles, too. Saw some brown headed cowbirds last week, another short spring vistor for us.

I at least had to make sure my wife and I were on the same page about a new boat. As your wife says, "If you're happy..."; works both ways. Reminds me that I need to work on her car this weekend. Happy wife, happy life.

The wife LOVES Dewey's. We had papa murphy's Wednesday night. Their mediterranean chicken pizza is pretty good.

Tried to go to the bank to deposit some checks and the line was around the branch, through the parking lot and down the street. Gave up on the bank and headed to a big box store for some 2x4s to replace my rotten trailer bunks. It was a circus! Parking lot was full and people everywhere inside the store. There were a dozen people just in the aisle with the 2x4s. Had to tell 3 different people not to take my cart before I could get anything on it.

Did sweet potatoes and pork steaks last night. Thanks, Ness! Had to have sweet potatoes after seeing yours. Stole some pork from the steaks for duck burgers tonight. Did an 80/20 mix.

Buddy of mine played a round. One person per cart and he said they had pool noodles around the pins so you didn't have to touch the flag. This was in NC.

Lump is all I use. Better flavor and can burn hotter. I think it burns a little faster, though. Got a heavy cast iron grate for the weber a few years ago... talk about being able to get a good sear!

Made some parmesan crusted caesar chicken the other night. My wife has been on a tortilla kick. We had caesar chicken wraps last night with the leftovers.

Do you ever grind any waterfowl? I'd like to try duck or goose burgers on the grill. Can't decide If I want to cut with some pork or beef.

No access to or from the river anymore. Been a while, too. You'd be limited to the pit with the ramp.

I lived in Greensboro when the Hurricanes came into the league. I really enjoyed watching their playoff run last year, especially how it all started. š I wouldn't be much of a Blues fan if I didn't root for the Wings to lose. Rangers can't spend the money they used to before the cap.
