  1. Looks like the trifecta to me. Good job quill.
  2. Bass Pro has their micro liite graphite rods on for $49.97.
  3. The last I heard was 6 hp.
  4. I heard that a guy backed a trailer into the water and was ticketed. I don't know if it is a fact, just what I heard. I remember when you could launch and load a bass boat if you only used your trolling motor while on the water, but sadly those days are long gone.
  5. Have you called Interstate?
  6. Reading this is making me want to get back on the water. As soon as they let me out of here I want to drag the old Nitro down to Cape Fair and wet a line. Bo your reports really get me going.
  7. You might call Tom at Championship Marine in Spokane. He is the best glass guy that I have found.
  8. I'm not sure what you want opinions about. In regard to buzz baits I normally throw 1/2 oz with a swim bait trailer. I have 2 favorite colors black and white. Bladed jigs are about the same normally 1/2 oz with a variety of trailers. Year before last bladed jigs were better than spinnerbaits for me. Last year I couldn't buy a fish on them. My favorite color of them is red/chartreuse but I make them and have lots of colors.
  9. I doubt it. I don't think they want anything but canoes and yaks in there.
  10. You might pm Panfisher. He works there.
  11. wow! And to think all I was trying to do it inject a little levity into an otherwise cold and boring day.
  12. Where are you and what happened to global warming? It is 3° here at my house this morning.
  13. http://I don't tie that small 1/32 is as small as I use. I pour and paint my own. I use a fluid bed and powder paint my heads. I use a ball head or minnow head and like to tie straight to the hook with no lead appendages to get in my way and make the jigs too bulky and awkward looking.
  14. Is the ferrule glass or metal?
  15. No I am not talking about calibrating the blue tooth antenna or a heading censor. I am talking about using the CIRCLE MODE have the boat circle a waypoint (brush pile) so you can fish it from all directions. liphunter: I also just bought the I pilot without the link. It was great but not all that I wanted so I added a Solix and the link last month. I've only had it out a couple of times but getting the follow the contour was worth the extra cost. I also found a guy who wanted to upgrade to the I pilot blue tooth and sold him my head, antenna and remotes. That cut the upgrade almost in half.
  16. I have a MK Ulterra with Ipilot link and a Solix 10. I am trying to learn the manuals before warm weather. I have come across the CIRCLE MODE. The manual gives ways to get to it. However, when I follow the instructions I get a menu with it on there but not highlighted. I am doing this in the garage with the tmotor on, the Solix on, and the remote on. It also does not show up on my on screen Solix menu for I pilot link. Does the trolling motor have to be deployed for it to be active?
  17. Nice eye. Why is all the letters backwards on your jacket?
  18. Some real nice brown fish there guys. Congrats.
  19. Not sure about on line any more. Little Rock COE no longer sells them. The only place open now that I know of is the Dewey Short Visitors Center at Table Rock Dam. They might be available at Wilson Creek Battlefield Office.
  20. If you were talking to me, I use them with blades. I use all shapes and colors of blades from 2 to 7 blades per bait.
  21. Good luck. We have ice on the street, walk, and driveway. I haven't even ventured out to get the newspaper yet.
  22. Congrats QB. Once again you are getting the job done. I took a neighbor to Cape and we struggled. We only had 4 fish all day and only 1 keeper (a 4# brown fish on an A rig). Fishing is getting tough for me right now even with water temps in the upper 40s where we were fishing. It seems like only a hand full of us are even going out or they aren't talking. If the roads don't ice up I'm going again on Friday as it looks to be the only day in the near future that a sissy like me will venture out.
  23. Not only have I not tried it I had not even heard of it till you posted. Since I have at least 10 A rigs I will probably stick with them.
  24. Moving some stuff around in one of my fishing gear closets, I found a LOWRANCE transducer that George Robinson had built for me a few years ago for vertical jigging. It is a puck style that can be glued down or put on a trolling motor. It has a black connector which limits the range of units that it will fit. If you have black connectors on a unit and want it, it is yours. Just let me know.
  25. Thanks. I was at Cape Fair and the water was 48°. A 10° difference is quite a bit. Maybe I'll keep going to Cape until we have some warmer weather.
