  1. I threw all of that Wed. It was tough for me. Chatter jig was all that produced. Not sure about the east wind today.
  2. Not sure what is happening here. I am camping at State park. Just before 7 an ambulance with flashing lights went down to the ramp.
  3. I am still struggling to find quality fish. I fished Tuesday in mid lake and only caught 4 with no keepers. I fished again on Friday up the Sac to CC and up the Sons. I caught 10 blacks with no keepers and found a small pocket with whites in it. I got 24 of them and they were mostly small. All of my fish are coming on plastics. It is starting to get depressing not being able to find good fish. Maybe when the water cools. It was 74° to 76° with the river being warmer than the main lake.
  4. Some of them are and some of them aren't you will just have to see. You may not be able to get closer than 20' then have to look around. Also some of them are several piles in a general area. Have you downloaded them to an sd card then uploaded them to your unit?
  5. I got to go during the middle of the day on Sunday. I fished between Hartley and Mutton. I had a tough time. I only had 5 shorts. 1 on a buzz bait, 2 on a Ned and 2 on a worm. No other bait produced. 5 fish in 5 hours is pretty slow as far as I am concerned. I fished from the bank to 30' deep. I never had a bite deeper than about 18'. The deeper fish came while fishing parallel. The fish were near but not on the points (both main lake and secondary).
  6. I have been away for a week and looking now I can't find any reports on Stockton and very few on the Rock. There used to be several bass reports on the forums. Have guys quit reporting or left the site?
  7. Royal Blue I hope you like your rod. If not just let me know.
  8. I've only used Optima. The ones in my old boat were over 4 years old when I traded it off and were doing fine. The ones in my current boat are into year 3 and showing no signs of weakening.
  9. Thanks for the report. I hope to be there Thursday.
  10. Sorry I did not see the non in your post. Yes non touch needed it but as far as I know all of the touch units have them built in.
  11. Are you sure? I've got a pretty old Gen 2 9 that doesn't need it.
  12. There isn't a box. Those were needed for Gen 1 units. Gen 2, 3 and Carbon have it built in so the LSS 2 hooks straight up.
  13. Price drop. $250 tyd.
  14. I've ruined a few in my day. John sounds like my kind of guy. I'll try go get over there in a few days and see what he has or suggests.
  15. My current spinnerbait rod and chatterbait rod are built on the same blank as the low rider. I like them a lot.
  16. I did not know about John's. I'll have to check them out. Do you need to plan on leaving a deposit when you pick up props. I went to a prop shop a while back seeking to try out some props. The person behind the counter wanted to keep my credit card while I was gone. I offered cash but not the card. My card never leaves my sight, it rarely even leaves my hand. I have not had to deal with props for a long time. The last 4 boats that I have had were propped good enough when I got them.
  17. I have a boat that is heavy in the stern. It wants to porpoise some and I have been told that a 4 blade prop might help with this situation. I would like to find an honest prop shop where I could try some 4 blades of different pitch and maybe even different brands. Got any recommendations?
  18. Sent you a PM Royal Blue.
  19. I'll take it. I've got 3 new ponds that need a lot of water.
  20. Knowing what brand of reel you are using would be a great help in giving you repair assistance.
  21. I won't have that option since I run Lowrance units but the remote seems to be a good way to do it. I was in the BPS outlet this am and found a couple of Ipilot remotes for $90. I thought what the heck an extra might be a good thing so I bought one.
  22. I had an Ulterra trolling motor put on yesterday morning and thought it and I needed some quality time together. I ran down to Stockton and put the boat in. There was a good south breeze so I decided to try the motor out on some windy spots. I fished several places and wound up catching 14 bass in 4 hours on a spinnerbait. That was a good feeling and the trolling motor performed better than I had expected.
  23. I have a Transducer Shield and Saver trolling motor mount that for an LSS 2 and 2d sonar puck. I also have the LSS 2 transducer and 2d puck. I paid over $600 for it 2 years ago. I'll take $300 and ship it to you USPS priority or meet you some place. I'm switching from a MG to a MK Ulterra and can not figure out a way to use it.
  24. I'd rather sell this locally so I don't have to find a box for shipping so I'll take $450. Local pickup.
  25. This motor is 2 years old. It has a 45 inch shaft. Available until Tuesday afternoon. Price $ 550.
