  1. Well I wouldn't have recognized you in a Lund. I'd have been looking for that copper colored glitter sled you used to have. What color is the Lund?
  2. I fished down there a couple of days ago. I have never seen so many shorts in my life. We had about a 6-1 ratio and talked other boats. Some said 10-1 in their boats. I'd really like to get into a bunch of 15".
  3. I almost went down that way myself but I have been twice and haven't found as much as I will drive that far to catch. So I opted for Table Rock myself. And from your report I'm glad I haved the 80 miles.
  4. For a different reason I too am looking in that direction. One that keep popping up is Costa Del Mar. I haven't seen them yet but have heard nothing but good about them.
  5. I'm thinking that would be bankbeaters because the lake is 7' down. There would be some tricky shoals trying to get up there.
  6. Stockton and Pomme de terre being smaller bodies of water and more north tend to have a later migration than Bull Shoals and Table Rock. I have fished all ends of the lake and it is usually well into March before they show up for me and then only if we have rain with a good runoff.
  7. Looks close to pool to me. Here is a quick place to check. http://www.nwk.usace.army.mil/pt/daily.cfm
  8. Did you mean to post some pics?
  9. There is way too much profit in them to suit me. I used to sell them and we got 1/2 of the premium just to do the paperwork. I never had a customer who need to use it. I would keep my money in a maintainance account like suggested and have the motor looked over at least yearly by a good mechanic like stated.
  10. Tom and Kelly at Championship Marine do any kind of fiberglass work that you need. They are very very good. I have used them twice and will again if I need more work. They also do carpet.
  11. I hope you do well at your boat show. I also hope it is better than the one in Spfld. There were only 4 bass boats in the whole place, a few tins, pontoons, bow riders, jet skis, and 4 wheelers. I don't think I'll ever have to attend another one, especially when they charge me to get in the door.
  12. How are they especially Hwy O and Foxglove Road? Also is the Beaver Creek Ramp and Pk lot clear? Having surgery on Tuesday and would like to fish on Monday.

    Deer

Our deer have to eat acorns while your get to eat corn and soybeans. Check out the schools and see difference in kids sizes compared to how many hot meals they get during the year.
  14. When are you guys going to be done with the dam fix and put some water back in that pond?
  15. That is good to hear. I have had to use the expeditor service 2 times and thought it was great as the broken rods were totally my fault. The $50 or $100 is way better than replacing at $245.
  16. My Johnson is way smaller than that and has a different shape.
  17. This is SWMO not Wisconsin or Canada. What the hell are you guys smokin' anyway.
  18. If you are going to Old Wire Road, I'm guessing you better have 4X4 when you turn off 413. The guy who works for us said he is getting around in the truck but it isn't any fun with the depths. He talked like all of the side roads he has to use are unplowed. Even Springfield has streets with a foot of snow that haven't been plowed.
  19. It is very possible if you are willing like stated to use discontinued technology. There is nothing wrong with it and lots of guys are "trading up" and selling at very good prices. I just sold a unit that I paid $700 for when new for $250 shipped. So I recommend that you look around and see what is out there that suits you. If you want some links to sites with activity pm me and I'll supply a couple.
  20. I called them one time and discussed it with a guy. He said since they were privately owned the orders came from a dispatcher phone call. They would have no idea when the generation would begin but lots of times they were told to generate a few hours after TR started up. If things have changed I don't know about it.

  22. Yes, my records show that in 2006 it was 903.
  23. Don't use a swivel at all.
  24. Another 3-4 feet drop, snow gone, ramps clear, up the James I go with my float n fly.
  25. Uh no. I'm not ready to die just yet.
