    That would be upper end white. Upper end for me is above Cape Fair since it is closer to home.

    I used to use Wonderfoam and Restore. I have switched to Limeaway and Bow to Stern. I have been using Limeaway since recognizing the smell of Wonderfoam to be the same as Limeaway. I use it on the boat, motor and trolling motor. I used Bass Boat Saver for a long time until I tried Bow to Stern. It lasts a lot longer than the other products I have tried.

    I haven't seen any at all this summer. It won't be long before you will be able to catch them on windy points between Hartley and Mutton.

    My advice to any dog owner is remember it is a DOG not a person. Teach it specific words and or hand signals that are commands and only use those with it. Don't talk to it like it is a person the way so many people do who have dogs that are always out of control and the people don't even realize it.

    They do seem to have better pricing on some stuff but they don't have a very large inventory like all the rest of the Academy stores I have been to.

    With Truman 2' down and Stockton 4' down I'm wondering the river level right now. I have had some not good experience with shoals up the Sac in the past.

    I heard that was over at Rouark Bluff. That is another good reason to pack when you go out.

    I called the COE and was told that the regular ramp is closed because of low water. I was also told that the camper's ramp was available for anyone to use till the water comes back up.

    People with kid tend to leave the lake after Labor Day and don't come back till Memorial Day. You should look up fall turkey season and go at the first of it. There will be hundreds of guys in the woods and a lot of them usually are on the water.

    Just interested. Do you guys do catch and release tournaments like most of the bass tournaments or do you do catch and eat?

    Don't know. Never measured it. Found an out of stater who wanted it more than I so it is all his now but it could have been public if MDC had wanted it.

    I didn't know that they were buying. I tried to sell them 800 acres along Crane creek and they said they weren't buying anything right now.

    Typically Lowrance units have a 20° cone. So the diameter is close to 1/3 of the depth. You have to keep that in mind when looking for your bait. The bait tends to get behind the cone when the ducer is on the trolling motor. For that reason I mounted one back a ways inside my hull. It is slanted starboard and forward to give me a pic on that side of the boat. However, with some experimentation you should be able to see your bait with the unit mentioned.

    50,000 2" walleye should make for some crappie and bass food. I wonder how many of them can be expected to make it to legal length.

    Coming in that way there are 3 places to launch: Nemo, and the 2 ramps at Hermitage State Park. Can't help you on the crappie on that bitty pond as I haven't been there for them in nearly a year but you should be able to launch at Nemo and get into some at Haverstick or Doc Bailey.

    Did you go beyond the docks on the right a couple of miles above the Bolivar Landing?

    When you get closer to your trip, monitor the lake levels. This past year we didn't have campgrounds on either lake because of high water. Bull is still 24' above normal even though we have had a drought this summer.

    That is good to know. Are they present anywhere around here besides LOZ?

    Found Pom tough today. Caught less than a dozen. Wire baits were best, no color dominated. Boats on most places I wanted to fish (more than Table Rock or Stockton). Only 1 keeper and it was on a cinnamon jig on a bluff. Next time I'm heading for the river.

    If the weather clears a bit, I plan to go Thurs. If I get out I'll post up.

    Pom is at power pool so if you know where the channel is then it is good to go.

    Yes above the McCracken bridge. I like to fish from Wheatland to there in the fall when the river allows it.
