I hate trying to set a puck with the two part epoxy that comes in the tube and you mix up with a popsicle stick. it is a pain to get the air out to get a good seal. I was wondering if anyone has tried the two part body shop gun applied products, like 3M Automix or Fuzor, with any success in mounting these pucks in your hull. I mean if it can hold the roof of your car on it oughta hold up to a transducer. Any thoughts or concerns?? Thanks in advance. TR

State Farm did the same to me. 2 claims since 06 a theft and a lower unit, i did myself $900.00 . My agent said he tried but I dont think he tried as hard as he could have.24 years everything I have was insured by them. I went with Nationwide, Easy to use and they would insure my boat only. I found them to be cheaper and offer, electronics and tackle coverage as well. Once the mad factor was over of being canceled and getting my new insurance I found out State Farm was screwing me on my boat. I got better coverage for about the same money. All was done over the phone and they have followed up and been very good to deal with.

You can take your boat and trailer to a feed store or recycling depot and they can weight it for you. Towing is alot like driving on ice easy to go harder to stop, Yes all these vehical will have power to pull them but when you get close to the tow rig and the boat being the same weight physics takes over. Trailer brakes that work,and are installed and adjusted correctly are a must when using smaller tow vehicals. Yes the pilots gas mileage wil be better till you load it then once again physics takes over. The pilot will work harder to have to tow the weight than your Tahoe engine does thus lowering mileage. Here is my biggest theroyabout boats and mileage and tow vehical size, how much money are you gonna save if you cant stop when a deer or some idiot pulls out in front of you and you hit them, all your savings just got paid to an insurance company.

Yes they do charge you to marshall, you are the eyes and ears for BASS if you will. You basically watch and send in weights over basstrac, a text system to keep up with the fisherman. I did it last year on Bull Shoals and it was a great learing tool for me. I viewed it as money well spent. I was paired with Hank Cherry, Kieth Poche, and Greg Vinson, each angler was a true professional and answered all my questions and showed me how and why the fish they were catching were at those spots. I learned some neat stuff. I really enjoyed it but would not do it on a lake I dont fish. It was really hard for me to watch as Hank caught over 100 fish on a jerkbait and not be able to get in on the action.

I was planning on sneaking out tuesday but when weather man said 7 deg in morning, I decided that I am not that tough. But Saturday I will be on water. Merry Christmas Yall.

wait until late october or early november and go bass fishing and you will catch muskie shallow on spinnerbaits and crankbaits. Another option is to go in january/febuary and throw an Arig and that works very well.

In April this year I was a marshal on Bull Shoals and it was an incredible experience. The cost was $125.00 for 2 days guaranteed and a possble draw for the other 2 days. I got drawn for 3 of the 4 and it was three awesome days. It is amazing how quick they figure things out and make changes to what is happening. I would recommend this to anyone but it is very hard to not fish when the guy in the front is catching a hundred fish on a jerkbait and all you can do is watch. It was a blast. The 3 pros i drew answered all my questions and explained why they were doing what they did. I was amazed at how tired and worn out I was at the end of each day, they have one speed and it is fast on everything.

Hey To all who fish the Mill Creek night touneys, How do you guys handle the MO No Cull rule for July and August, was just kinda wondering.

I went to State Park one day took boat off trailer tied to the dock parked truck went down to boat. Got lifejacket on and motor would not start tried n tried no going. so I put boat back on trailer with trolling motor pulled out, pulled hoods and di all checking I could do. Still nothing. Strapped boat down and drove back to Ozark, pulled into buddies shop with a six pack and was good and mad. Told him what I had tried he went over to boat looked at shifter and plugged my kill switch in and started motor. I was really mad at that point but we drank the six pack and to this day laught about that trip. So stupid is not a lonely place lots of visitors. including me

dudley get him a spook jr or a simular topwater and hit any point in the Cape Fair area early in the morning 6:00am till the sun comes up and you should be able to come up with a LM for him and maybe even a gooden. TR

That kinda wipes the profit out of a days work guiding. I feel your pain had a truck stolen and 2 years later had a boat stolen. Cant stand a thief. No need to pollute the water by having them sleep with the fishes, why make the fish suffer.
