Guys, I've had Lyme and I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy. I now inspect my whole body after a trip in the woods. The antibodies are in you for life and another full blown infection can be worse.

I am using a Lew's SG300 right now and it has worked well all year.

On Tuesday's float, I caught this one that taped at 17.25" on a cooler ruler and followed that guy up with the 16.5" fish below an hour later. On Wednesday, I topped both of those with this big girl, cementing my new PB at 18.25", eclipsing my previous PB by 3". I was absolutely beyond myself and celebrated with a fist bump and a few beverages. She appeared spawned out and on the road to recovery. All three were laid on the same cooler ruler for a measurement. It was not the best two days for numbers, but in the 35 fish range for two days, with these three piggies, I could not ask for more.

Wade fishing is a great way to access the water above and below all of the accesses.

Hoglaw, you are correct. Dave's heads are amazing. The weedguard has saved me numerous heads from errant casts. With that said, I can't say I have caught more fish on anything than a 3" soft craw. I've done damage on everything except a topwater, but that's a confidence thing.

I am jealous. What air system do you guys use for spraying? I have pondered getting into lure making and have a desk set up for it, but don't know what compressor, lines, etc. Thanks, and youguys are insanely skilled!

I'm a simpleton. In clear water, I'm on the bottom with craws, pick a color as long as it's green pumpkin. In murkier water, I like a Shad/baitfish colored crank, either a Wart or something like a Shad Rap.

The first posts in every thread regarding these bills is always, in one form or another, look what they're trying to f*** us out of now. It gets old and if you've noticed, the response to these threads have diminished as well. What is the solution? Who knows? Perhaps, one thread detailing the upcoming votes without attempting to sensationalize them would get more attention than the current methods.

The constant new threads telling us about another bill are the issue. It isn't a matter of not wanting the information, but rather, like the boy who cried wolf, it gets redundant and loses its gravitas.

You both have a valid point, but OTF, you have to see what Ness is saying. He is simply saying that the sheer number of threads about proposed legislation is enough to cause one to ignore them all. The titles are sensationalistic to say the least and act as nothing more than click bait. I quit reading them when it was a new threat to outdoor enjoyment every week. I almost regret clicking on this one. I love the Ozarks and don't want anything to get in the way of my time down there, scarce as it is, but give us a break with the Chicken Little thread titles and conjecture of what could happen.

I have looked at the Baby Lucky 13 and asked myself, "Self," I says, "where be the diving lip?" Now that the skirt is mentioned, it makes sense. Do you skirt guys have any favorite brands, lengths or types? I ask because, in my mind, a spinnerbaits skirt is too long, but I could be wrong.
