I’ve always felt the same way, the problem is the pendulum always swings too far in the wrong direction. They started playing games at McDonnell Douglas by combining skilled labor with production workers and coming up with hybrid classifications. This caused a huge problem because they were laying off more highly skilled workers with less seniority. Now your left with some dude who can’t do his own job. Try to make things equal...see what happens?? I also got grievances filed against me for taking my portable measuring equipment to another building instead of waiting for a teamster to do it for me. Which would take a whole day if you were lucky. Having said that, I’ve seen management screw people over too. In the end, I still think there is a need for them but they have become way too powerful as of late.
To me this is the most bizarre movie coincidence of all time. In the movie the Big Lebowski, Jeff Bridges is inside a store writing a check… He looks up and sees a television with George HW Bush talking about Saddam Hussein. They then Pan down to the check that he’s writing at the store and it has a date of September 11, 1991...Exactly 10 years before the world trade centers fell. The movie was made in 1998… 3 years before the World Trade Center’s fell
I still wear mine most of the time, and I don’t care if people think it’s a sign of weakness, I’ll keep doing it anyway. At least until I feel like it’s safe.
Hey, I used to be a diesel fitter at woman’s under garment factory. I was in quality control. I would hold panties up against a ruler and say “Yep, Diesel fitter”
Very nice, I can never make stripers or whites taste that good, I remove the dark meat and all but still a little too fishy for me. Same for paddle fish
Well, some play by the rules, some don’t. Some encourage people who don’t play by the rules, which is just as bad. They’ve been asked to take it to the political thread but for some reason they don’t. Lazy I guess
Three statisticians went bow hunting for deer and they spotted a nice buck. The first one shot, his arrow went 10 ft. Too low. The second one shot, his arrow went 10 ft too high. The third one started jumping up and down happily screaming,
”WE GOT HIM!, WE GOT HIM!!!!!!
I asked him why didn’t he apply for a state record, his response was “it wouldn’t look very good for a guide to have a state record” ....I was thinking....yea right
ps. I think that Bobber Annie may not be his daughter but his girlfriend...but I could be wrong
