  2. Didn’t know that, thanks, Maybe this was the fish he caught last week
  3. This may have been already posted on here, I don’t really know, but a friend of mine shared this photo on Facebook about this beautiful 31 inch brown trout caught on the lake Taneycomo with a # 16 scud. Pretty sure this was last week.

  8. Nice fish Harry!!
  9. Lately I've lost two nice fish with a wobble head and it's got me perplexed. I have a love/hate relationship with this set up. Pros: 1. I love the way this bait falls 100% straight down without gliding. 2. It gives more action to your plastic trailers and jigs. 3. Once the hook has penetrated, the wider gap helps and seems to be a bait they cannot throw. Cons: Obviously my initial hook up ratio has suffered. I seem to get snagged more often I have bent the hook point slightly sideways, like the photo hoping this will work. I've always heard a sideways, sweeping type hookset helps. Anyone have any suggestios?

In Ness's house its like eating at the Waldorf every night!
  11. Boats don't work sometimes, it just sucks. We don't get to fish often enough, and when we do, this happens. Paul and I were towed by a couple of guys at the Big Bass Bash last month because of battery issues. They were a couple of older guys who had been around long enough to know the drill. They were fishing in the tournament but still stepped up to the task. I believe they were paying it forward. The guy was the owner of a Pizza place on the lake near Tan Tar A. If I can rememer the name of his Pizza Place, I'll give him a shout out!
  12. Just like the rest of us. 😜 I don’t need to tell you this but you’re one of the good ones. Some on this forum like to joke, some are just A Holes. Ps. Maybe you won’t see this because you’ve already blocked me!!😂
  13. Isn’t ANTIFA supposed to start shooting people tomorrow?
  14. 23 1/2” I set the hook near a log and saw the gold flash and thought I had the Kraken!! 😜 BTW, my father in law is cleaning it right now
  15. Some of them suckers even like the HD-craw too! 😂
  16. That’s awesome, the sugar crash! My middle daughter scored 3 times, 2 trunk or treat events, plus Halloween in her friends subdivision last night, which included a street party for the adults with beer and Pizza. I attended that and ran into 2 old friends! Good times had by all. The only caveat was the cold temps...My daughter refused to wear her coat and cover up her costume because she wanted to look cool.
  17. I think he meant the MDC
  18. When the American Carp society gets together for their annual meeting, how many lawn chairs are required?
  19. Finding it the right length is a challenge, it’s usually too short. There are guard hairs and under fur to deal with too.
  20. Here’s my simple 2 material Hair Jig, Arctic Fox and Marabou.
  21. Once you go under that bridge there is a big hard left turn and a pretty deep bluff hole a few hundred yards down...yikes! A funny story a few years back. Al Agnew, Jeremy, and I were in my jet boat right at the Riddle bridge ramp. It's always a popular hang out for Pulaski County's "finest" folks. There was a big old gal holding a baby standing in waist deep water and The baby was not wearing a life jacket. All the sudden we heard a scream and the lady had dropped her baby in the water. it took a couple of seconds for her to find the baby and pull it out of the water. Of course, the baby was crying loudly. The father comes rushing over to look the kid over and said..."He aint hurt!, he's just more scared than anything!"
  22. I was Thinking the same thing
