  1. I will look them up, have no idea what they do.
  2. I think much depends of the water color/temp at the time you're fishing. If it's too murky, maybe find a tributary that's clearer. Sometimes rivers up there are shallow and wide and not much channelized. Find a spot that is a foot or two deeper than the surrounding water. Spinnerbaits are always a good choice for up there, they cover a lot of water.
  3. Actually on the rivers Ron fished, which were typically gin clear, Road runners were a good choice. RIP Ron
  4. Very sad
  5. I remember an old Smothers Brothers album my sister had.... Tommy: "I remember I went to your wedding, and the conception" Dicky: "You mean the REception?" Tommy: "I guess I got the wrong room!"
  6. Once trout get away from being a filter of small aquatic bugs drifting at current speed down the river, and start becoming predators seeking out a much bigger meal, then I start getting excited 😊.
  7. My two responses 1. When I look at you, the hands of time stand still! 2. You have a face that could stop a clock!
  8. Ed, I now recall that first pic! The rope swing bass!!!!!! Awesome
  9. Nice! That's a beast
  10. Be honest guys, what was it that first lured you into being a fly fisherman?
  11. So 2.5" was my original craw. But the new small craw is actually 3" which is more like your original intent.
  12. That sounds an awful lot like Smalliebigs
  13. And tell people you've seen " A River runs through it " 10 times
  14. I always figured you to be the last guy on earth to care what other people thought!!😜

    What's Cooking?

Marty, I've always been open to all foods, but I drew the line be in China when they brought out red "jello". It was cut in 1" cubes. My wife says "Don't ask" just don't eat it. Later I asked.....Ducks blood jello.
  16. You'd think he was in the Great White North...not 95 degree St.Louis!!πŸ˜‚

    What's Cooking?

Here's my world at a family get together today at my wife's brother's house. Beef stomach, ears, and meat with spices. Huge dumplings from a northern province.
  19. Thanks John, you're exactly right. Actually this size was the first size that was created based on input from Al Agnew......so it's his fault!!πŸ˜‚
  20. We now have a smaller finesse version (3") of our craw available. Here it is next to out 4" flagship craw. The creek guys are going bonkers!
  21. Just hold a mirror up in front, they think it's new meat and jump on the mirror....drop the mirror and run.....problem solved.
  22. Wrench can take it!
  23. Native Americans didn't have jet boats with 2 million candle power LED spotlights. Its hard to convince folks that illegal gigging is a huge problem who have never seen the carnage themselves. The country folk talk amongst themselves and know who's doing it. There's absolutely no denying it.
  24. Ketchup, that is awesome!
  25. I think you know that I was never, or will never be mad at you, Mr Marty. It's just called ribbing. That's are others thoughπŸ˜‚πŸ€
