    2,000 people competed in the Big Bass Bash at Lake of the Ozarks. That's conservatively 1.5 million casts over a 6 hour period, with every new fangled lure known to man (and probably some old classic lures) and the best bass out of a lake that has more shoreline than Lake Michigan is 6.5 pounds? Fish 1, Humans 0

    I read once about a recipe on this forum from either Gavin or Al about crumbling up potato chips and placing them on top of fish fillets and drizzling butter on them. I tried it last week and it was unbelievably good. I cooked it at 500 degrees for like 8-10 minutes. My wife said it was the best fish she had ever eaten.

    Great read Al, so nice for someone to post an actual fishing story with no politics! I thought the "Grateful" painting looked a lot like you I'm guessing Montana is much further along in the fall/winter process than we are here in Missouri.

    I've been using CC and like it well. They also have a heat diffuser that helps for your amber color problems. I'm interested in your softener.

    A Canadian pro caught this while drop shotting in the St. Lawrence river. 5.14 lbs The fattest smallmouth I've ever seen. Looks like a spring fish but he caught it today or yesterday

    No, it's not molded in. Just a regular stand up football head and a double wire weedguard

    With a 1/4 oz head, total weight is a little over 3/8 oz with a 3/8 oz head, total weight is a little over 7/16 oz Take scale reading X .0022 to get decimal ounces never tried to skip them, you sure they will skip?
