No kidding.
I'm not sure what the future holds. Most urban/suburban kids are so used to the iPad or playing video games that they never leave their room. The only time they will see the outdoors is on a field trip or float trip. It seems the whole Boy Scout Girl Scout thing is dead too. I've got Buddies with a house at LOZ and can't get their kids out in a boat to go fishing. There are obliviously exceptions but it seems the rural kids are the only ones outdoors these days.
They have these, but I've never tried them...also, it depends a lot on the plastic keeper sections on the jig shank. Maybe find a jig with a collar and an extra keeper on the shank.

I use the Melitta pour over method for coffee now. Used to do a French Press, never could get it exactly how I wanted it. To me the pour over is the best.
Only 95% 😂😂
I love identifying fish by colorations! I'm also starting to love identifying people on the river too, almost the same way. Case in point! Women from Potosi usually have tatts resembling Eagles that stretch for shoulder to shoulder across their back, while a Pulaski county babe has Chinese lettering on the lower back just about the coccyx. The South county girls prefer smaller ankle flowers. It's so fun to observe.
I guy I know who owns a Tackle shop once told me of a guy who had tremendous success Carolina rigging tubes with a Gamakatsu EWG treble hook. He would run the line through the front of the bait and out the back. Then he would attach the treble hook and pull the line forward until the hook nested itself at the base of the tube tentacles. The EWG trebles point slightly inward making it almost weedless, if memory serves, he might've even skin hooked the tips. Apparently the hook up ratio was phenomenal.
In order to keep from spreading the invasive Rusty Crayfish, please use our craws at Tackle HD, there is no way our craws will breed, they have been sterilized by Hog Wally. Go to www.tacklehd.com and do your part for conservation. 😁
