Don't know which side is worse, both sides can be pretty annoying. The "Lets just kick back and watch these rich city f'ers try to launch their boat"....or the "get out of my way, you hillbillies" crowd. The guy was going to take his family out for the 4th, which is s good thing. As far as his comments to his wife, he was obviously frustrated and wanted to load as quick as possible, especially after the Champion dork started opening his mouth. It is the summer and these type of things are going to happen. I might add that these lakes are recreational as well as fishing lakes! Everyone gets to use it. Give the guy a break.

I've also heard of oven cooking at low temp first, then pan searing last.

For the past year I've been toying with the idea of dry aging a rib roast. I've also have been toying with the idea of pan searing my steak instead of grilling over charcoal. I may do both this summer. My brother keeps telling me to pan fry the steaks and you'll never go back.

Totally agree What the heck does it matter how much the boat costs. Guides and tournament fishermen do this for a living and are quite good at loading and unloading a boat, big friggin deal. Go try and do his job

6:00 for me When you have kids under 13 it doesn't make sense to eat at 8:30. After dinner, there's homework and showers. Bed at 9:00. My 13 yr old catches the bus at 6:40. Without kids I'm not sure I would want to eat that late anyway. Someone said you're not supposed to eat within 3 hours of bedtime...who knows.
