  1. I have a buddy that lives in Pensacola and fishes from a kayak alot in the bay there, he does great with reds and specs. You can fish from the beach, in september you will very likely see spanish mackerel schooling very near the beach. There is a pier in orange beach that has good fishing as well. There is a party boat located at Sanroc Cay marina, Reel Surprise Charters if you want to go offshore. I highly recommend them, great people. Dont waste your trip. currently only people with navy credentials can go.
  2. you ever head down to mountain home area?
  3. then go with the lightest motor you can.
  4. in the long run you will be much happier with a 60/40, but if that tohatsu is a 2 stroke the bigger motor will weigh double what you currently have.
  5. I have seen his posts on 2cool, he takes some amazing photos.
  6. those will be a huge hit on the coast. Imagine going 20 miles offshore and only spending $35 in fuel.
  7. In before it gets locked and deleted!
  8. the chemistry of he battery prevents it from burning up.
  9. That is a LiPo battery, not a iron phosphate battery. You can tell because it caught fire...LiFePo4 batteries do not do this. The issue is there are tons of cheap lithium batteries out there that just aren't high quality. I had a LiPo battery fail in my boat, and we were just out on the water.
  10. Those specs wont start an ourboart. The max current is only 200 amps. It may start the motor once or twice but not reliably.
  11. with a lithium you just need a charger that outputs voltage all the time. the battery has internal circuitry that will keep it full.
  12. spend the money ya cheapskate!!! haha.
  13. depending on chemistry the difference in a agm vs lipo vs lifepo isn't enough imo to justify the cost. way different on trolling motor batteries.
  14. if your running electronics get a odyssey pc925 side by side battery. plenty of reserve for electronics, and 550cca. https://www.amazon.com/Odyssey-PC925-Automotive-LTV-Battery/dp/B0002ILK72
  15. large capacity is cheap, but big amp draw capability is not. If money is no object you can definitely get a lithium battery that will start your jet easily, but if it were me I would buy a AGM 20-bs battery for starting the motor and use lithium for the trolling motor. The cells I used to build my battery will absolutely start an outboard. each battery has a 200amp short circuit ability
  16. check the max current rating, you need around 300 amp
  17. there's a HEB??
  18. Don't do it, arkansas is full. I hear Missouri is nice though.
  19. Looks like ya'll had a great time, however I would suggest not using those paper lanterns as they are known firestarters, and we are extremely dry at least in our area.
  20. I hear they are still trying to shock the pool lmao
  21. wrong. I support repealing this tax as a federal tax, because the states can then tax as they see fit. I am 100% for giving as many rights back to states to decide as possible.
  22. I suspect someone would hop in and move it or throw it in neutral and let it go back into the swamp
  23. beautiful boat, looks garage kept, I bet you sell this quick
