Snagged - no problem at all... I am too looking forward to 50 degrees in a couple of days. The extra ice and sleet yesterday has turn our roads into ice rinks but it should be at least off the roads this afternoon.

Go ahead and post one more time ya or nay and I'll (or you can) delete the 2 previous posts. Hit the delete key at the bottom of your post window.

Thanks Phil.

Just figured out I could do it myself. Hmmmm? Self flagellation. I probably deserve it. Just went to the grocery with my wife and daughter. 30 degrees feels like a heat wave compared to the last couple days. No trout in the Lou but it is definetly time to tee it up. Sorry again Phil.

Snag.

No Change

It has not been proven to have any effect on fishing or damage to the eco-system of Tanneycomo.

It is a ethical question at best. It is only done with little or no generation and as soon as the generation is resumed the botom is filled back in. There are not a lot of people who do shuffle and if it someone enjoys

catching fish with this approach it doesn't have to affect your attitude. There are enough trout for everyone. :excl:

I think if it could be enforced, it should be illegal, but I don't think it can to the extent that agents would pursue it.

I wonder what a law stating you can't fish within the minimum reach of you fishing rod, extended parallel to the water, would do. It would certainly keep your fly out of the feeding area and make shuffling somewhat useless.

Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
