Fishing Buddy Don House Posted December 26, 2008 Fishing Buddy Posted December 26, 2008 Don, Do you know what rods out there have over 60 million modules from tip to but? Thanks Gary Gary, well there is Grandt Rods, he has 60 million in his All-American Rods and 78 million on his XLH70 rods, then there is your higher end St Croix I can't remember the model number but it is their end rods, Legend Extreme I think. There is the IMX Loomis which comes out at about 50 million and some of the LamaGlass Rods and of course Kistler Rods the Argon TS Models.. Remember there is more to buying a rod besides the modules of graphite, Also pay attention to the reel seats, I really like the Pacific Bay these should be made out of Alumunim, Graphite or even now Carbon and or Titanium. Also look at your guides on the rod, do they have single foot guides or double foot guides, doubles are much better but it does add some weight to your rod, but will hold up to alot more than the lightweight single foot guides. These guides or guide rings should be titanium oxide, Stanless Steel, Gold Cermit or Carbon Steel, also look to see if the feet or ring frames are Titanium, Steel or Carbon. Titanium would be the best for weight and strength. Next look over the warranty, make sure it is uncond lifetime, with a small replacement fee, mine are under 25.00 dollars and is that for return shipping back to me.. Take a look at all of these you will see the price come up alot, but these are all high end rods.. Good Fishing Capt. Don Capt. Flippin Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 Don, Thx for that info. Does that Grandt Warranty replace the rod if I accidently step on the rod and break or some user accident like that?
Members Brian Posted February 24, 2011 Members Posted February 24, 2011 has anyone ever tried a Okeechobee Craw color? it is a blue light brown light green color?
Members Dudley Posted October 8, 2011 Members Posted October 8, 2011 I understand what color, line, rod, etc. My biggest problem is where to fish them. Do you just drive around a point or hump till you see fish on the graph then drag it through that area?
