Danoinark Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Anyone have a copy of Ed Engle's book written in 1991 called "Fly Fishing the Tailwaters"? Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
patfish Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Nope, but if I ever become a millionaire, I'm buying us both a copy.
Gavin Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 There are some on Alibris for $212 a copy...Ed Engle is a pretty good writer but what is so special about that book? Does he reveal some secret method of fishing a zebra midge under a small bobber or something?
Danoinark Posted January 23, 2009 Author Posted January 23, 2009 Gavin and Pat..I am with you both. I can't figure why that little 150 page paperback is worth the range I saw..207 to over 300 bills. Dano Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
Ham Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 I guess its Supply and Demand (OOP and not out of people looking for it) and a good buddy that pimps him hard. How much time on the water would $300 buy? Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
fishinwrench Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 Here's a preview (teaser) of it: http://books.google.com/books?id=XvaKvxVHQ...=result#PPT1,M1
