laker67 Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 NOT a good idea. You need to tell that to them pro bass guys. They do it on national tv and get paid for it.
Gatorjet Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 Welcome, and even though not a Fly fisherman myself, I have to say you have found the right forum. Just by reading the posts I have learned there are many of the best fly fishermen in the Midwest on this forum. Real men go propless!
NoLuck Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 Welcome to the fly fishing world. I sure am glad I never got the gear head bug myself.
dave potts Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 Welcome to the board Newbie. I live in Mexico,Mo and also fish the parks and Taney. In fact, I'm heading down to Bennett in the morning for a couple of days. I didn't realize that they did not stock Bethel Park in Columbia last year. We have a lake here in Mexico which they also stock for winter fishing-you may want to come over and give it a try sometime. It's in Plunkett park. Dave
