Members Ragnarox Posted August 8, 2012 Members Posted August 8, 2012 I picked other...but it's hard to chose. The place I fish the most now is the Palisades...but aside from there I've only fished at ponds like Suson and those don't feel like home waters to me.
WHARFRAT Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Just bought down at LOZ on the Big Niangua, so since I dock my boat there, I guess I can now consider it my home waters. Still no opposed to other bodies of water, whether by bank or boat! Still will fish around StL every chance I get. But it is really nice not to have to trailer the boat everywhere I go. And if I want to, I'm less than an hour away from Pomme, Truman, and probably Stockton isn't much further. Might have to learn a little troutin' since Bennett is a short drive. @lozcrappie
Smallieguy87 Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Just last summer after living fairly close to the huzzah for some years I finally decided to give it a try( I always avoided it because it's had a reputation as a big party area) me and a couple friends went out and waded for a few hours I brought in about 20 smallies with a few going 15+ I was impressed with the beauty of that stream so much so that it's now my home water
Members Simonthegolfer Posted March 31, 2014 Members Posted March 31, 2014 Lake Dardanelle in Russelville AR. Not my home waters ( Crooked Creek ) but it's my all time favorite.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 31, 2014 Author Root Admin Posted March 31, 2014 Taneycomo is still ahead of Table Rock... Alright!!
Wayne SW/MO Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 That is strange, but then again I've been on TR more than once around the Indian/Long Creek area and not seen anyone fishing, or maybe one or two boats? I'm not saying it isn't crowded however. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Members Jeff Maberry Posted January 6, 2015 Members Posted January 6, 2015 I grew up in Van Buren about 1 1/2 miles off the current 5 miles up river from town that will always be home no matter where I live
Members basscatfan Posted January 7, 2015 Members Posted January 7, 2015 I have to say LOZ is my home waters and favorite lake. The fish here don't seem nearly as finicky as other lakes. Bass and crappie are nearly always biting at least a little.
