I was practicing that day and had around 15 lbs and thought I did good but I guess I didnt do that well afterall HA. I know both of those guys and they really did catch them the day of the tournament. Wish I could stumble onto a school of good uns like that! HOOK 'EM HORNS
Ham Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 So Brian, were they using jerk baits? Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish

Bill Babler Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Can anyone tell me when the last time on any of our lakes, either Bull, Lake O or the Rock it took a 29 pound plus bag to win a 5 fish derby? What a day! Congrats You notice I didn't include Beaver. Don't know if it has 5 that big swimming in it, that arn't white and black. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com

johnboy2bfishin Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 know waco and fred personally, those two have fished all over together and have done quite well. the were fishing jerk baits to catch there fish. and were fishing them around brush piles. said they had to pause the bait for up to seconds to get bit. waco is one of those guys who takes notes on every time he is on the water he could tell you what the water temp, color, air temp, pattern, and sandwaich he ate from 20 years ago.he has an extensive library of notes and if you ask him he is nice enough guy he will tell you what he was using and what color and all . they are both really nice guys
