mic Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 I'm headed out for a dream trip to Yellowstone in early August. Any advise on traveling back with wet waders and shoes?
ness Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 Don't do it. Mildew is nasty stuff. Figure out a way to dry it first. John

mic Posted July 18, 2011 Author Posted July 18, 2011 I'm looking at the luggage with the vented bottom for wet stuff.
flyfishmaster Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 mic, Will you be fishing the last day of your trip? If so, you are just S.O.L. Other wise you can ask the hotal for a few extra blankets and wrap your waders up in it over night to allow most of the moisture to be taken out, then you can finish drying them off by hanging them near the A/C vent in the room. That has worked for me one time in the past. Later, FFM Woo Hoo Fish On!!
jdmidwest Posted July 19, 2011 Posted July 19, 2011 A short trip like that should not hurt anything. Air dry as much as possible and unpack as soon as you get home. "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson

mic Posted July 19, 2011 Author Posted July 19, 2011 It's Summer for $#!T sake. Wet Wade! Have you ever wet waded all day in snow melt? If yes, did you get your D___ out by sticking your thumb in your mouth and blowing hard.
