Fish them under a float with a couple shot, just like a scud. Best color depends on water clarity, level, and available light. Worms are a great pattern when they generate, or anywhere when it rains enough to saturate the ground. You would be amazed at the numbers of worms that drown in my 16x32' in-ground when we get a heavy rain. Imagine the numbers that get washed off the shorelines.
